I feel like if you need this to figure out what channel the sec network is on your provider you dont deserve to hold the remote.

Comcast, for example, has different regional feeds therefore it is on a lot of different channels in different regions, even within the same states.

What's really cool about that link is that it provides all the alternate providers in your area that will have that SECN. There were three, in my remote area alone, that I didn't even know existed.

Agree. I have been Googling the past few days to see what other cable options I have in my area besides Verizon and have had trouble finding real websites that aren't just advertising spam.

Unfortunately looks like I'll need to switch to Comcast.....

Took me a while to find it on Comcast.

Looks like it will be on 1738 (hd) for Comcast in Nashville.

That's because Comcast has regional feeds. Each Comcast regional provider is independently owned and therefore each region has different channel numbers.

Here in SC all the different regional Comcast providers have been tweeting what channels the SECN will be delivered on and they have all been different between the Upstate, the Piedmont and the Lowcountry.

1738 for Comcast in my region which likely includes much of Tennessee and alabama.

Nice, I didn't know I also got an SEC Network overflow channel.

Cox
SEC Network: 335 and 1335
Oveflow: 388 and 1388

Maybe they'll hide away all the Arkansas stuff on the Overflow channels.

Cox is different in every market. 68 and 1068, even the basic + gets it.

True. I just used the link and entered my zip code and my provider. I got a generic message that said they will start SECN in "most areas" on Aug. 14, but advised me to call the provider to find out when it would air in my area. I contacted them and found out that, in my area, they will not start SECN programming until August 21. They don't even have a channel assigned yet.

Comcast is going out of their way to tweet all their regional channel numbers to everyone in their areas.

Today has been full bore channel assignments from all the carriers.
