It seems I always pick the SEC to sweep in bowl pick 'ems because the matchups almost always seem favorable, but there's always two or three teams that can't get it done for a variety of reasons.

What's LSU's recent (past 4 years) bowl game record? I know they lost in 12 & 11 but what about 10 & 09?

2010 - LSU 41, Texas A&M 24
2009 - LSU 17, Penn State 19

1-3

The 1 win was vs TAMU in 2010, the other 3 are L's.

A loss to the hawk eyes would be embarrassing.

yes it would. i dont think it will happen though. penn state was way more than a stiff dew. bama obviously destroyed us and last year we were spoiled. this year we have a freshman qb that wants to win and a team wanting to back him up.

Based on Vegas odds, the SEC has less than a 1% chance of sweeping their bowl games. Even if you take out the Auburn game, there's only a 2% chance.

Assume the reference was to the squeak by wins against MSU, UGA, and Bama.

I guess we should add a "Shoulda Won" column to the records too so UGA can say they accomplished something under MR. It would give them something to talk about every year instead of whining about everyone else winning.

Spooky prophetical. Well done.

Then again ... nah, we all pretty much had worries about UGA sans Murray this post season. Good thing for your dawgs is that Richt will have all spring and summer to start anew with the new QB.

LSU will probably lose their bowl game. Miles has a nasty habit of losing games he shouldn't and its getting worse every year.
