Should be limited to one or two out of state camps within SEC borders. A&M should only get Louisiana. Alabama should have to choose between Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Texas.

Definitely not good for LSU or A&M

If we're to compete with the other P5s and even get the rule changed, there shouldn't be any restrictions. Doubt SEC coaches will do that many camps but we shouldn't handicap ourselves in theory.

It gets to a point where it's a waste of time and effort. Reasonable rules can still help coaches get exposure and access to recruits.

Translation: Saban doesn't like seeing the field rushed after Bama loses.
Your reading comprehension may need some work.
I am simply saying that it isn't safe for a bunch of drunk fans to be around the opposing players and coaches. Could you imagine if Tennessee beat Alabama in Neyland with Kiffin there? Do you think Kiffin would be safe with the Deliverance clan celebrating?
Or what if Alabama fans rushed the field after beating Auburn? Dime to a dollar some gump would try something stupid.

Does Detroit have a good recruiting base? Michigan has some good rexruits every year. Let's go to Ohio too...

I agree with the bolded sentence wholeheartedly.
As to the second sentence: 1. Coaches are responsible for realizing what's a waste and what isn't but the option should be there imo 2. I don't think any SEC coaches will go on a mini camp spree - there's just wayyy too much to do for that to happen and the SEC recruits itself 3. I can see coaches doing a min camp one year there and one year another place etc. or even doing a mini camp ever so often to establish presence but even then I don't know if it will be used much (just good to have in place).

Just for shits and giggles, I hope we do our first one in Wisconsin.

Yes but the only problem is Detroit kids have a bad rep for not making it to signing day for a plethora of reasons. Some do, but it's actually pretty sad how many don't make it. They are talented kids stuck in bad circumstance (above and beyond even other bad places).

[quote]At the Ole Miss game our players and coaches were still on the field. The officer next to Saban had to take out an OM fan.

We clearly already have one in Arizona.
2 5 stars and 1 4 star in 2 seasons.
2 5 stars and 1 4 star in 2 seasons.

Those numbers sound awfully familiar...

Let's be honest. No one on the Bama team was shaking hands after that loss.

All from Arizona?
All from Texas. If you go back another year, we could include 5 star Ashawn Robinson and 4 star Mo Smith.
If we keep Kendell Jones' commitment that will be four years in a row where Alabama has snagged a five star on at least one service from the state of Texas. Impressive.

Ole Miss is the worst violator of this. In 2012 when they finally won a game against Mullen they rushed the field and all our players and coaches were still on the field.

But this rule will allow Saban/Bama to set up camps in Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, California, Washington DC, etc.
Saban already has so many people on payroll in Louisiana schools that it doesn't even matter.

Sir, Alabama fans have never and never shall rush the field after a victory of any type. That is for lesser fans of lesser teams.
