SEC West fans are nicer than East teams fans

I’ve been to enough road games to say that with complete conviction. Ole Miss fans were incredible last weekend, Alabama, LSU and Auburn were all very hospitable the last time we were there. Compare that to those assholes in Knoxville, Gainesville and Columbia, South Carolina and this is really not even up for debate. I’ll exclude Georgia from this because they were the exception. I’d be interested to see if rant fans that exclude their rivals see the same thing.

They do matter. They’re a solid team, but they just can’t seem to beat Tennessee.

I’ve experienced just the opposite actually. Been to Columbia a couple of times, pretty welcoming.

I think familiarity and proximity sometimes breed contempt so that may have something to do with it. I've always thought LSU or MSU fans were the worst.
