Haha, sorry! Hey, I wouldn't mind y'all proving me wrong, but I just don't know about that happening.

USC vs Mizzou: I've got Mizzou with the W. They have a nice defense and I'm just not feeling Spurrier this year. As a disclaimer, I haven't seen much of either play just yet. Only bits and pieces.
Bama vs Georgia: Georgia. Complete team. Chubb. I have them as the SEC East Champs
Ole Miss vs Florida: Rebs, but this is closer than most may think it may be. I think it's going to be centered around if Florida can keep it's offense on schedule and not turn over the ball. Gata has a good D. I was EXCEPTIONALLY impressed wit the Reb's defensive speed in the game vs Bama.
Arkansas vs Vols: This one goes to Arkansas, and I really think it may be a double digit victory. Vol Defense is gong to be on the field a lonnnng time with Bert finally pulling his head out and running. Vol offense hasn't shown the meat of it's sizzle quick strike offense though.
State vs Ags: Ags. With as little time as the Ags had against the Hogs, we still produced points. Not enough TDs, but points nonetheless. Dak will get his, but I think we are looking at anywhere from a 7-10 point game.

Not bad, but I'm gonna take Arky 28-24 over Tennessee. It may not be until the end of the season when they get some guys back, but Arky's going to jump up and beat someone that they shouldn't again this year.

South Carolina @ Missouri - 17-10, South Carolina.
Problem for Mizzou a couple of our best defenders are likely out for this game but our (still) starting QB is in.
Plus it's the HBC who will school Pinkel on gameday 9 of 10 times.
USC 23 - Mizzou 21

UGA run game should win this one but it will be closer than that, UGA 28- Bama 24

Fl isn't bad sippi is just better.
Ole Miss 28 Florida 17

Arkansas @ Tennessee - 31-20, Tennessee.
hmmm, who do you hate least?
kind of want Tenner to win this for the east but I think arky figures it out this week and the Vols drop another close one..
Arky 27 - Vols 24

That score in OT is literally impossible unless a coach kicks a field goal after the other team scored a touchdown
18-18 going into OT. Ole Miss with the ball first scores a TD and gets a 2-point conversion. 26-18. Florida with the ball next gets a TD, goes for 2, but it's intercepted and returned for 2 points. Ole Miss 28, Florida 24.

South Carolina @ Missouri - 14-13, Toss up.
Mizzu's defense is overrated, but South Carolina doesn't have a legit offense anyway. That's a wash. USCe defense is trash as well as Mizzu's offense. Game will be ugly and under 30 points total.

#13 Alabama @ #8 Georgia - 34-27, Georgia wins.
IMO Michel is better than Drake (who I like), Chubb is better than Henry (who I also like), Lambert is better than Coker, and the OL is better than Bama's. I do however think Bama has the better DL, but I'd say push on the LBs (UGA pass rush, Bama rush D), and push on secondary. I think Bama loses, but I think it's only by a TD.
Bama is still Bama until somebody does beat em badly.
quote:
#3 Ole Miss @ #25 Florida - 28-17 , Ole Miss wins or 24-21 Florida upset .
I think they'll win it more convincingly that you, but UF will make it look respectable by the end. Vandy was a trap game in every sense of the phrase. A team that is better than they appear, sandwiched between two decent at worse teams.
I also believe that they could slip up here. UF could squeak out a close win. Florida could pull the upset special payback for 2008.
quote:
Arkansas @ Tennessee - 27-24, Tennessee win.
Think it will be slightly closer. I said Tennessee was the one team that couldn't have injuries preseason and expect to accomplish their offseason hype, and they have been dropping like flies. Also, I expected Dobbs to be at least slightly better at passing the ball, which he is not yet. On the other hand, Allen is not clutch and when it is his time to make a play, he has failed. Tennessee kicks a GW FG with time running out, or Allen gets a final drive and likely fails again.

#21 Mississippi State @ #14 Texas A&M - 28-21, Miss St win.
Miss St defense might be better than expected. Prescott will carve TAMU up for a 300+ total yard, 3 TD performance.

For some reason Butch Jones popped into my head when I read this.

Don't see Georgia scoring 38 unless 5 turnovers and a fluke TD. Bama defense is legit. See this one being close, maybe 20-17 either team.

State is 3rd in the SEC in Scoring D- predicting A&M to score these big scores is absurd. Especially with State being 3rd in sacks and A&M 13th in sacks allowed

Really I'm just thinking that Georgia will pull what Ole Miss did against them with that monster running game. Who knows, though.
