You are missing something.
They wouldn't kick the extra point. It would be over after the TD in your scenario.
So you're talking about the hypothetical Ole Miss TD in OT? If so, then the score would instead be 27-24 F/OT and not 28-24, right?

That score in OT is literally impossible unless a coach kicks a field goal after the other team scored a touchdown
you can only win by 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, or 8 in OT.
unless you're down by 7 and kick a field goal which is something Dennis Franchione would do I think.

Ears bleeding? You are easily the most annoying one in this thread. Get a grip, what I said was not that incendiary.

Florida pulling this type of Final two weeks in a row would be pretty entertaining.

That score is not possible in overtime, if UF kicks a field goal to go to 24-21 and Ole Miss scores a TD the game ends at 27-24. Because your prediction is invalid. 21-17 Gators is a better prediction.
Oh, but it is.
Game ends 22-22. Ole Miss goes on offense first and scores a touchdown to go up 28-22. PAT is blocked and run back for 2 points. 28-24 Ole Miss.
Florida fails to score on their possession.
Happened in 2000 Independence Bowl.

Might be a tad high but I like this one to be similar to USC-Kentucky. I think it can be one of the more exciting games of the week.

I don't understand how anyone can pick UT to win at this point.

It's more so about who they're playing.
