Arguing over an inch or 2 is ridiculous. He's bad arse for his size. Plain and simple.

I'd give a decent edge to Willie on the defensive side, and a decent edge to Portis on on the offensive side. Bobby plays on average 4-5 minutes more than Willie per game. So a small difference in stats based on that. It's hard to pick just one of them because they each bring different things. A lot of what Willie gives to the team on the court goes unnoticed on the stat sheet. He does a lot of little things.

Regarding Mickey and his blocks. From the few games I;ve watched LSU play this season, he gets majority of his blocks on weak side help. That's not a bad thing, but it has nothing to do with size and more to do with timing and position. Anthony Davis thrived on this in college. Yes he is a freak of nature, but a good amount of his blocks came from rotating from the weak side and timing it to an unknowing defenders shot. He also got a lot of straight on blocks as well, but most times good shot blockers have a keen sense for that weak side rotation.

#2 in the SEC in rebounding too

I could've sworn ESPN showed a stat saying WCS was #1 during our game with them. Maybe they meant in SEC play?

adding to the point that mickey is probably the better athlete of the 3. the guy blocks people straight up and off the ball. he's amazing. almost had a triple double against tenn.

portis and wcs are awesome too. great to see these elite players in the sec.

the upcoming lsu/ark game is going to be another titanic matchup in the paint.

Who knows. They're all great athletes. I would say Mickey just has the better instincts for blocking a shot. He's excellent at reading the driver and rotating over. Go straight at him though and there's a good chance you get denied as well. Back screen him all day though and he becomes human.

Um no Willie is one of the most athletic centers to come out of CBB in a long time. He is absurdly athletic for a 7 footer, hence being able to switch on to guards.

and jordan mickey is lsu's 2nd player to block 100 shots in a season. that's a team with shaq and tyrus thomas. prolific shot blockers.

He was on the list, then the list was shortened to a point where he no longer deserved to be on it.

I was talking about the OP list. He should be on that one.

I don't see a problem with it though. Okafor is the real deal. By far the most NBA-ready player in the game. His footwork is unreal.

You guys will love Jimmy Whitt when he gets on campus. I think the kid is going to be really good. Though I'm furious Mizzou couldn't lock him down considering he goes to Hickman (Columbia Public School).
