1. My guess is Bama vs. Florida in the SEC championship game again this year. (So far) Keep in mind this is pre-mature and only a guess from what I've seen SO FAR!!! There's a lot of football left to be played.

2. Florida doesn't look as strong as last year. I believe losing Percy and company will affect them more than we all thought. Tebow has a bullseye on him and I think he'll be worn down by the end of the year. Defense is great as expected. I like Bama's chances against you more this year than last. Bama had more room to improve than Florida since last year and have done so with the exception of the O-line.

3. Auburn is better on O than expected so far. I expected their D to be decent. 7-8 wins expected, 9-10 wins unlikely. Gotta see what you do against SEC competition b4 I can come to anymore conclusions. Can't lie though...you are better vs lesser competition than I expected. I thought WV was gonna

4. LSU is good but I thought they would be playing with more intensity than I've seem from them. They can still beat anyone in the SEC on any given day. I think they get it together eventually. I just don't see that swagger I'm use to LSU displaying.

5. I'm still trying to figure out why Old Miss had so much hype coming into the season...I mean their decent, but they've always been decent. They've always played us tough. Don't see it changing much.

6. I'm tired of looking at Tebow yell at his team-mates on the sideline like he's having a Seizure. Dramaqueen!! It shouldn't take all of that to get your team-mates fired up and ready to play.

7. TN??? They've looked bad at times and great at times. I just don't know what to say about them just yet. Defense is good. Need a qb badly. You lose to a mediocre Pac-10 team in UCLA, then you turn around and play the Gators tough??? Are you that improved? Or did Florida just not play up to par? I think you are going to be really good.

EVENTUALLY!! Maybe!

8. S. Carolina...we all have to admit now...(even you gamecocks)Spurrior won't be able to change USCe into the old Gators of the 90's. USCe = Old Miss....just never seem to be able to get pass the hump to eliteness.

9. Kentucky...glad they beat Louisville but continues to be in the lower tier of SEC in football. They still can beat or hang with most teams in other conferences.

10. Vanderbilt is....Well Vanderbilt. I would put them about where Kentucky is in football.

11. Miss State...they have a lot of work to do. I look for them to be competitive in years to come. Just not this year.

12. Bama looks solid but I'm still not sold on the offensive line. Thats our weakest point....well besides our kicker. I expect to be in ATL at seasons end but if LSU or Old Miss can beat our O-line then either can be making the trip instead and thats highly possible. I just don't see Ingram, Richardson, or Upchurch gashing thru the D-lines of LSU, TN, AU and Old Miss like they've done FIU and N.Texas. Maybe they can do just enough though. G-Mac will eventually earn the respect he deserves once he wins some SEC games cause some of you Gomer's just refuse think Bama may finally have a good QB.(OH NO!!! Not the GUMPS!!!)

yes buddy...the Gumps finally have a QB

13. UGA...you guys really miss Stafford, Moreno, and Massaquoi sp? You will take a big step back this year. Just too many new players at key positions to compete for all the marbles. Kinda feel sorry for you though. As long as Florida is in the SECe you're always going to struggle to get to the SECCG. Better send some undercover sports agents over to gainesville so you can get UF on probation or something.

Even after all this...we are all just an injury away from having a disappointing season. I look forward to the remainder of the season.

Not saying that it wouldn't be nice to have those guys still, but as of now, Cox is 2-0 in the SEC and certainly appears capable of leading the team to a good offensive year. The defense....well there might be the crimp in the plans.

True...UGA will have to outshoot their opponents this year and thats going to be hard against these SEC defenses.

And you got this from a 38-16 win against FAU? 3 games into the season?

Good job but fla didnt have Harvin when we played them last year and they looked beatable after OM beat them as well. Tebow has that ability to take it the next level like noone I can remember he is always so focused.

+1

Having a 5th year senior to take over a team after your previous qb is drafted #1 can = success.

Excellent post. I agree with what you stated. I especially agree with your Florida observations. Tebow took quite a load of that game on his shoulders and he will end up getting tired or injured if he has to continue this. UF will be beatable at some point down the road. October 10 comes to mind.

USCe is a tough opponent I'm not saying that. I guess I just previously though the gamecocks would be competing for at least SEC championships by now under Spurrior and I'm finally realizing it's not gonna happen in Columbus (even with Spurrior). I don't think he's, "Lost It" like some people do. I just think he can't get the talent there like he could at Florida and thats just the ugly realization of it.

I fail to see how Spurrier is relevant for 13 of those years.

You're right. Now Bama has to play some SEC Football. I think Bama will drop 2, possibly 3 of the next 6 games. With 2 to 3 losses, and playing at Auburn at the end of the season, I don't see how Bama will be in Atlanta come December.

comparing the sched match up b/w Au. OM, LSU and Bama why do you see Bama with any less chance than LSU with ARk, OM, Bama, Ga, FLa left and Bama with LSU, Ark, OM, AU, and TN left. OM still has LSU, Fla, Bama and ARk left as well right. out of that I think Bama has the best shot at getting there based on how we match up against all of those teams. I still need to see us against Ark but if we handle them well Au is a mirror image of them with a worse qb and only to this date a slightly better defense.

You're right Bama is about to enter SEC play but so is everyone else. We can drop 2-3 of the next 6 games just like AU, LSU, Arky, and Old Miss. We are all entering into SEC play now so why is it so hard for you to see Bama in Atlanta in December. I've been more impressed with Bama than I have LSU and Old Miss over the past few weeks which is how I came to that hypothesis. Still gotta settle it on the field though.

IMO, bama looks more complete than Florida, solely bc of the WR situation.

the defenses are comparable, and bama's power run game is pretty devastating once u add in the play action pass.

True but our O-line is not opening the running lanes up like they did last year. They've been doing ok but that was againt FIU and N. Texas. Remember we really struggled against V. Tech and couldn't pull away until we wore them down with depth in the last quarter. LSU and Ole Miss has the depth on the line to keep it interesting and won't wear down so easily. I just think we struggle against you more than I'd like.
