It is time to restore the group pride felt by the conference members and fans that was present in the years from 2003 to 2009. During that period our champions were considered to be good guys and that gave the conference credibility. That credibility began to erode in 2010. The Scam debacle in 2010, Alabama's 1990's Nebraska-like team character decline and finally the Ole Miss SMU-like cheat parade have damaged us nationally. Now it is time for Florida, Georgia and my LSU Tigers to take back the mantle and restore the SEC to where it belongs.

The 2011 National Championship game embarrassed this conference more than anything Ole Miss did.
