Arkansas (or USCe) shouldnt be on any "SEC titled" thread greater than 20 years.. As you may have noticed, these historical rankings dont support my argument that Arkansas has no winning tradition and they arent worthy to be mentioned in the same breath as LSU, therefore the wins racked up in that lesser conference don't really count. Sincerely, the resident douchebag.

Damn, UF did exist before 1990. Who would have thunk it?

Florida was a good but certainly not the powerhouse they are now.

Here are the rankings from 1950 to 1989:

4. Bama
11. Arkansas
12. Tennessee
14. Auburn
17. LSU
18. Georgia
20. Ole Miss
24. Florida
56. South Carolina
74. Kentucky
86. MSU
96. Vanderbilt

1950-1989

Well, the two LSU fans do have a good point about Arky and SC not being in the conference for much of the original time periods stated in the OP.

FL in the top 11 must make some of you really confused. We really should have cheated like the rest of you back in the day.

I thought Arky & USC joined in 1992? Im confused. You might as well add A&M and Michigan State to that list. Their records during that time mean just as much as Arkys and USCs....which is nothing

Why did yall have to abandon the 84 title? Was that due to cheating?

I honestly don't know the answer.

But wait- I thought Auburn was a shitty, red-headed, excuse for a wannabe SEC program?

I don't understand how Auburn is ahead of LSU on these lists. If I learned anything on TD this past year it is that Auburn had its first good season in 2010 and that was only due to luck and cheating. Your numbers must be wrong.

Our coach gave some cash to a player in need without going through the proper channels IIRC. There may havbe been some booster shennanigans too. I can't recall right now.

Actually that may be why 1991 didn't count. Frick I have confused myself. I'm in the airport so I will check later.

That's part of the reason I find these stats interesting. Bama proves its historical dominance and teams like Florida and LSU aren't better than Auburn historically.
Also, some like to run their mouth about how Arkansas doesn't have any tradition at all. These lists show that we aren't far from the "big six" and better than most in several decades. You can tell by the responses in this thread who it pisses off.

No....but i know LSU history. And history consists of more than just win %....like championships, division titles, conference titles.

Obviously you don't know much Arky history since you included them in this thread and they were playing in the weak Big 12 at the time. Do some research

You realize the majority of your record on these stats comes from your pre-SEC days, right?
