UK football is sad historically
but you seem to be getting a little better lately

It's so strange that Missouri fans act like they have some football history that they can hold over the SEC's head. I mean they were in the big12.

High and mighty, no. You haven't followed what's been going on. Some of the Kentucky fans have arrogantly talked down to Mizzou football as if they have any room to talk. Threads like these just expose their hypocrisy and poor football history...they don't like it. I see you defending your school every chance you get, so spare us the lecture, with all due respect. As far as us not belonging here, we were invited because we bring money to the table. I like being in the SEC but wouldn't hurt my feelings at all if we moved conferences in the future. Your "southern hospitality" is a myth.

Hardly. Kilo is UK obsessed. His posting history speaks for itself. UK fans know our football history has good and bad, like most every other program. We also play in the best football conference in history, something Missouri didn't do until 5 years ago. But you guys act like that doesn't matter either.
But when you start every thread on the SEC rant targeting UK, don't think we won't shoot it down.

Your attendance is falling at a pretty atrocious rate...35% as off now. You are trying to recoup those losses by renting out empty dorm rooms. That's what wealthy schools do..mmhmm.
As far as our Southern hospitality? We have plenty. Have you ever met us in person? This is a forum where we argue openly..we don't act like this outside of sports. It's the SEC..we are known for our extreme passion for our sports. We're passionate about high school ball down here, as well. You saying that about us also affirms what we've always thought about yankees...y'all are judgemental and arrogant. And yes, I lived in Connecticut when my ex served in the Naval Submarine force and we were stationed in Groton. So I have plenty of first hand experience.

We bring money to the table via tv sets, you should know this. Contrary to your own judgemental and arrogant opinions are on Missouri people, we have more in common with the south than we do with Yankees and trying to suit your argument with a true northeastern state is well, comical. Yes I've met many southerners through travel, people that live among me, and family members who were born or live in the south. Its a mixed bag when it comes to hospitality. As far as acceptance into the SEC, that's also a mixed bag in real life, and worse on the Rant. Not thin skinned or crying here, its just reality. Listen, personally, I love being in the SEC, I love the traditions and yes, the passions. We just want to fit in Girl, that's really the bottom line. We may never fit in because we know a substantial part of the south will never allow it, and that's what I mean by the hospitality being a myth. In a perfect world we never would of had the need to switch conferences. You entering this thread for the sole purpose to defend UK and blast us should show your own bias and judgement...just sayin

No Belle if you're going to talk down to us in football like your Bama, expect push back. This is an easy concept you know and everyone else here does too if they are honest. You are sounding like Tennessee's "Life Champions" ™ when you try and act like Missouri is so superior to Kentucky in football. They are both "average" football teams at best.
Apples to Apples
~ Both are around .500 all time
~ Neither has produced a Heisman winner
~ Both have around 200 NFL draft picks (UK did have a #1 pick tho)
~ Both have around 1.5 dozen NFL 1st round draft picks
~ Both have around a dozen All Americans
While nobody is arguing Missouri may hold a slight edge in most of these numbers it is not like it is a commanding edge like say Alabama dominating Missouri OR Kentucky in these categories.
Both around .500? Please, Mizzou is .545 and over 100 wins over the .500 mark all time. Kentucky is actually below .500 all time and has a losing all time record. Those two percentages are not even remotely close.

bullshite. Mizzou came in and won a division twice and won 11 and 12 games along with two new years day bowl games since being in the SEC. Kentucky has done what they always do which is failing to win more than 7 games and barely make a bowl game most years. This argument works when you try and defend your shitty program from outside the SEC but Mizzou has played 5 years in the SEC now. Im going to go with the fact that Kentucky is just really really bad at football and not that you have been some good program historically that has just been kept down by the "quality of the SEC". Do you really think people believe your bullshite?
Missouri vs Kentucky in all the metrics that matter; congrats on being terrible UK.

Ranking the all the SEC teams in a metric that happens to shed a bad light on UK doesnt count sparky. The bottom line is you all suck in football by every imaginable metric when compared with your SEC peers. You are always going to be at the bottom of these lists. How you deal with that is a you problem. The fact kentucky is at the bottom of these lists is a kentucky football program problem. Instead of being mad at the messenger maybe you should try to change the culture of your football program.

My favorite response is the "East was historically down" when talking about Mizzou success meanwhile UK lost 10 games in 2013 while the "East was at its historical low point"
