shite like this happens in football. It doesn't mean he is a piece of shite or a thug. Polamalu had the same accident at USC. The entire NFL did a survey and he was top 10 nicest guy in the NFL voted by the players.

Also, LSU fans really have no room to talk to call anyone thugs. Football is a physical sport.

ETA: Everyone has questionable moments on their favorite team. Upshaw kicked a vandy player and was suspended by the staff for half a game.

He's obviously unaware of this thread, or we would have seen it at least ten times by now, while his stock as a poster plummets.

I think the coaches should have kicked the shite out of him for how he acted after the play and even more so for his actions after he was ejected.

It is the way he led into the tackle. The video I posted explains it all. I have seen a kid become paralyzed from a hit like that. It was at a JV game in Purvis, MS. The kid is in a wheelchair now and will never walk for the rest of his life.

One of my players when I was working in MS took a cheap shot at Dylan Favre during a game. He was suspended by our coach for 3 games and there wasn't even a flag thrown on the play.

I think it was a messed up play from the get go. The punt returner was in no position to even make a play on the football. It was no where close to him at the time and then we he shaded his eyes to pick the ball up he started running forward. It would have been ok for him to run to the ball swinging a fair catch but he did not do that. He was wanting to make a play for his team. Wade did what he was taught to do, make a play before the returner did. I do not understand why this is being blown up?

u dont understand why this is being blown up?, are you that fricking stupid, your POS thug should be kicked off the team, arkansas fans on here are classless

Because it's illegal to hit him REGARDLESS of where the ball is. Do Arky fans really not get that it's illegal to contact the punt returner before the ball gets there?

then re instate the halo rule, LSU and Bama does this same stuff every weekend and nothing big is made about it. Haters are gonna Hate, yeah we are 7-1 and in the National discussions again. deal with it media and NCAA.

Because we all desperately needed something to talk about that didn't involved the words Novermber, 5th, stats, Bama, LSU and alahunter.

So, if Alahunter started a thread entitled "Alahunter's November 5th stats (Bama/LSU related)," would the entire world explode?

Have you read my other posts? Did you not see where I said that an LSU player is one of the first ones spearing in the video? It is wrong for anyone to do it.

If you have ever played football, you would know that kids are COACHED not to hit like that.

Punching a true freshman over and over, is not totally acceptable.

Dude its a message board. Tap the breaks a bit with your anger.

People lead with their helmets all the time in this sport and don't get kicked off the team. Dumbass thing to do yes but no one is getting kicked off a team for it.

good punishment for Wade. Don't kick him off the team or suspend him for the season...don't ruin his career. He made a bad choice followed by a worse choice or two with the wave and mouthing. Thankfully, the punt returner was ok, and Wade, he'll hopefully learn his lesson and it will all be over with.

I wasn't talking to you. I just hit the reply button bc you were the last replied. Since the accident has happened, LSU fans have been quick on the draw to bash on this kid. It is what it is.

I'm not sure I would say he was punching anyone. He was definitely giving him the business though.

The halo rule has nothing to to with spearing. This is about spearing, which is tackling with your head down. What is so hard to understand about this?

Wade's hit the kick returner with the crown of his helmet in the the returners throat. Wade's lucky he didn't paralyze the kid.

On top of that he jumps up celebrating the hit. After he was ejected he acted like an even bigger POS while be escorted off the field.
