Didn’t see the play but that sounds like a CYA to me.

Arky player clearly recovered the ball. It’s a cop out excuse imo.

That's what I tried to tell Hawgeye, but that fired nfl ref on Twitter said something else.

You know it’s bad when their defense of the entire thing is basically “it was handled correctly because we fricked up the play so bad it couldn’t be fixed.“

We know that, almost as bad as your defense.

It took them 3 hours to figure out how to not say the fricked Arkansas.

If it were clear as day, they would have immediately responded.

Anyone with eyes knows Arkansas got fricked by a glowing sucker rod up a horse's anus.

The whistle has no effect of there is a clear and immediate recovery... Which there was.

Was a blown call. Not much they can really do about it. Everyone knows the hogs got screwed. Just a shitty way to end a good game.

Its impossible to know if he still would have recovered without the whistles.

I mean I was upset with the call at the time. But I am satisfied with this explanation. It makes sense. I would like to watch and listen again, but I bet it is accurate.

That recovery was after 2 others tried to recover the ball, it squirted away, hit the ref in the foot and 3 other whistles blew.

Definitely wasn't clear and immediate.
