I don't know if the series will ever be more than a 5 spread either way.

At this point that's what it seems like. If it did get to like 7-8 either way, the other school would inevitably (or at least it seems that way) go on a big run to even it back out or take the lead back.

Pretty close series record.

I can't see 9 game or even 6 game streaks happening going forward. Both teams are willing to pay any price to remain competitive.

You haven't heard it from me since before the 2010 season, I assure you.

I don't understand the confidence. LSU defense will be much improved.

Why would you say that? I claim Big 2 Status with Bama, most dominate teams historically in the SEC...

No, we'll just run the ball and play more ball control.

Please to remove "LSU" from Auburn's list, tia.

(And adjust total accordingly)

To be fair to Auburn, a lot of our dominance took place back in the late 19th century through the mid-20th century, when Vanderbilt was actually much better than it has been for the last sixty years or so.

Auburn has a similar dilemma with Sewanee and Tulane.

Sounds about right.

Mizzou: 11/13

Whoa! I realize that historically Mizzou has barely played any games against SEC competition (prior to joining the league, only 23 games total!), but still...then again, Ole Miss is the only team that they have a series lead of more than 2 games...

Auburn & LSU & Tennessee: 9/13
Florida & Georgia & aTm: 8/13

Sounds about right.

Arkansas & Kentucky & Ole Miss & SCAR: 5/13

Historically speaking, Arky and Ole Miss should probably have better records, and UK and SCAR should have worse. Arky and SCAR's records may be distorted by the whole has-only-been-a-member-of-the-SEC-for-21-years thingy.

Vandy: 2/13
Ms. State: 1/13

C'mon M State, you can do better than that...

EDIT: to reflect Auburn and A&M's totals that the OP won't correct for some reason.

Looking back at your prediction history, I like it when you make a prediction to win

Missed at least one for A&M - we're tied versus USCe.

It will still never look like the abortion that is USC's record in the SEC. I mean you could win every game for 20 years and still not catch up to some of those teams.

So you're suggesting Mizzou won't continue winning the East every other year?

I guess we'll find out in a couple years.

UF, UGA, A&M with 8. (You didn't give A&M credit for USC)
LSU, Tenn with 9
Auburn with 10
Mizzou with 11
Bama with 13
