Easily the most potential our secondary has had that I can remember. If our corners continue improving it could be the best in our history.

Yeah, I kind of agree. Connor and Pruitt are both stellar but I don't see enough at the corners to completely derail a team's passing game. I could be completely wrong though, we shall see.

Also, unless CJ Johnson is fully healthy and Fadol Brown is the real deal, I don't think we're gonna get enough pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

Well, one thing is for sure... Muschamp will always be able to get a job as a DB coach. Florida has been good there his entire tenure and next year wont be any different.

We have other pass rushing options now too. Hopefully that'll take some of the strain off of CJ and Isaac to alleviate the strain of playing small.

But but but Shaq Wiggins and Tray Matthews and JHC, no talent left, worst DBs in the conference, etc.

Ole Miss over Florida? Wow. I thought for sure that UF would run away with this categorical ranking.

As someone who hasn't seen Ole Miss play that much, who do they have that is so great?

LSU's secondary is going to be very, very good this year. 2 elite corners and a converted CB playing free safety. SS is the only question mark but there are 3 players competing for the spot, all with some experience. If the Dline can be even serviceable this D is going to be good.

I personally thought it was a little high and our DL was ranked a little low, but I find it hilarious that we were ranked in the top half of the conference after all the shite that was spewed on here over the last month or so.

We, Bama, and UF are the only schools to have all 3 defensive position groups in the top 6 in the preseason rankings.

Big 3

ESPN also just released the individual CB rankings LINK

Those are impressive gifs, but they must have given up a lot of yards for all those red zone throws to be picked off.
