The cost of living in the great Houston area of DFW is super cheap compared to most big cities.

ROI on a school-wide basis is a somewhat unreasonable metric. I had friends who managed to leave Vandy with little to no job prospects because they studied basket-weaving. On the other hand half my Vandy friends are up in New York working on Wall Street making 6 figures or doing well in engineering.

Yeah this is f-ed.
Went to a small private school. 80% of the guys I ran around with are very successful.
And the 20 year ROI is $100k total according to this
Course it might be easier to track larger or more well known schools.

Also, I did not come close to paying 110K for my 5 years at UT.
