We'll never have a format that makes sense so there is no point complaining about it.

Make it truly rotate and not have built in bs and it wouldn't be a big deal.

I think the 9 game schedule would cause more inequalities than the current format.

I'm curious if anyone thinks UGA would have a play-in game for the MNC in 2 weeks if they had played UF's schedule this year.

It would be a big deal for some and that's why it will never happen.

Have you peeked at the basketball schedule yet? Talk about weird, we play Florida twice and yet we don't play half the teams from the West twice

There aren't any divisions in basketball.

9 game conference schedule.

So, some teams play 5 home games and others play 4.

Just watch the crying if Bama wins SEC West and played 5 home games while LSU played 4 home and 5 away!!

No kidding.

Do folks not realize, before 92, some SEC teams didn't even play for a decade or two? Teams play more often now than they used to.

Anyone who dismisses this issue is an idiot.

The teams with the easiest schedules are going to the championship game. Playing a easier conference schedule is a huge benefit.

Honestly, it wouldn't be a big deal if it freely rotated for the whole conference.

Not Bama's fault they played Lsu and couldn't play themselves.

I would probably go with no.

After watching the games this year I believe the teams who played the easiest schedules would most likely be the winners of the divisions as I don't see a huge difference between the top 6.

This year to year thing is a joke, hopefully they figure out a format soon...regardless of what it turns out to be.

For the love of God, we have been over this. This year's schedule was put together at the last moment and next year's is a temporary one as well. In 2014, they will release the permanent rotation.

So the frick what. No reason for the schedules to constantly be so unbalanced.

Well they need to grow the frick up as their arguments are ridiculous.

The UT-Bama or UGA-AU rivalry are not worth the schedules freely rotating.

And, LSU had a BRUTAL schedule last season......13-0

Quit whining and win games.

Are you trying to say UF was a game that LSU could not have won? Bama game was too much to ask?

Stop this silliness.

I don't want to watch another "easy" game. I look forward to GETTING to play UGA next season.

As far as watching a game no shite it is more fun to watch big games.

As far as being critical of how things are decided for the SECCG and NC it is a big deal.

Stop changing the scope of the damn argument.

For true balance and parity in scheduling, you need balance and parity in talent.

Eliminate recruiting and implement a draft. School X that finished last gets the first pick, ala the NFL. Crazy uh?

That's the only way to fix your "problem". As has been said, football is cyclical. The teams that are doormats this year, will be back up in a few years.

except Kentucky.

Were you asking if it'd be fixed in 2008 when we had Bama, @LSU, and @AU?

Your post has ZERO validity and you are a huge cry baby for even bringing this up. Infact, LSU fans as a whole are the biggest whiners in the country for bringing up this discussion.

His post has major validity. No, he is not a crybaby bringing this up. The SEC schedules are complete and total BS.

Last year and this year were transitional years. Basically, one time deals. So what happens? Alabama drops UGA and adds Missouri this year. LSU drops KY and adds S. Carolina. That is a major issue. Next year, LSU gets UF and UGA, while Bama gets TN and KY. I don't care what anyone thinks, that is complete horse shite.

Look, Bama beat LSU this year, no question. If LSU takes care of business like we should have then, LSU is in the title game. But, this conversation is not about that one game. It's about fair and equitable scheduling for all members of the SEC. It is about what is just and right.

Bama fans and other fans call us whiners, but the reality, is they love the fact that their teams get beneficial schedules. That is the real reason why they like it the way it is and don't want changes. They spin it to other factors, but that is the real truth behind their agendas.

11 of 14 schools disagree with you. And by schools, I mean coaches and AD's. Florida is among those that disagree. The had to play one of the toughest schedules this year, with Lsu on theirs. You don't see them whining.
