Current season YPC is actually relevant. Career YPC isn't.

Why did you round Ingram up and Green-Ellis down?

Ingram isn't worth a 5th round pick at this point. Unfortunately we're stuck with him on the Saints.

I didn't round shite down or up. I went right to ESPN's stats page

LINK

And you obviously don't know how rounding works.

Ingram:
125 carries, 510 yards. 4 TD. 4.080 ypc.

Green-Ellis:
263 carries, 1080 yards. 6 TD. 4.106 ypc

4.080 DOES round to 4.1

4.106 DOES round to 4.1

Wasn't McFadden leading the league in total yards at some point? I really didn't keep up with it, but I thought I heard that.

Last year, before he got injured.

He's been terrible this year.

Yeah, Ingram is worthless without an O-line that doesn't get penalized for holding.

The Raiders were a .500 team.

The Raiders are awful.

An RB is as good as his OL/team, don't care who you are. You could have AD on the Raiders and he'd have the same stats as DMac.

I feel for him, can't stay healthy and has had 5 different head coaches in his career in Oakland.

I truly believe DMac would be right there with Peterson if he had a stable coaching staff/organization. Even when the Raiders have sucked the last few years, they were able to run the ball. This year they can't do anything with that new staff.

The raiders are idiots and keep running the zone blocking scheme that they went back to this season with knapp. He's never ran well in it. When they had a man blocking scheme he tore it up...i'd really like to see him go to a different team where he doesnt get hit a yard behind the LOS every play

How many 100 yard games does Ingram have?

He has zero. But, the Saints offense doesn't allow running backs to flourish. The offense basically maxes any one running back at about 12 carries per game.

The Saints this year have exactly ONE 100 yard rushing game by a player. That was Pierre in week 2. That's it.

Just one.

Kind of funny really. For the Saints, Ingram isn't a very good back. The Saints want a shifty very fast back who can catch the ball out of the backfield because all they do is throw....and the occasional run to to surprise people, mostly their own running backs once in a while.

People have talked about the good season Richardson is having.

258 carries, 897 yards, has been nicked up, and is on a terrible team. Managed 11 TD's

Then you look at Ingram's career stats. 247 carries for 984 yards, has been injured, and he's managed 9 TD's.

Kind of looks like he just needs to get the ball in his hands some more doesn't it.

No, DMAC is among the best, the scheming has been bad for him.

Peterson isn't human tho.

Saints 100 yard rushing games by player for 2012:

Sproles: 0
Thomas: 1
Ingram: 0
Ivory: 0

Yeah, this offense is so good for running backs

There's nothing wrong with the offense. Ingram is just no good.

Then why is he starting right now? Looks like he's the best they got. At least the coaches think so.
