They'll certainly compete, but they'd be a .500 SEC team.

Talent is a wonderful thing. Which is really why it should piss you off all the more. Imagine what even a normal functioning human brain could do with LSU's talent, not to mention a good football mind. You should be top 5-10 every year.

Yeah, I guess coaching 45 scholarship players and being on a two year post-season ban is better than the UT job.

Yes, because those are the only two factor being considered when comparing the two jobs side by side. You aren't very good at coming up with logical points.

National exposure matters the most. The Alabama game in Fayetteville while we still lost is the biggest advertising tool we have this season.

Nah, the point is that Kiffster took the USC job when everyone knew they were going on probation, over the program he was building at UT.

Tennessee is lucky that he made such a dumbass decision.

would he have done that if he had thought that, long term, it wasn't a better program?

we both know that he wasn't doing much program building

That's why those people are picking up unemployment checks, and no longer coaching SEC football.

Kiffin is making 4 million a year a USC. Orgeron is making 800k. Croom is back in the NFL. Tubberville is making nearly 2 million a Texas Tech. Shula has plenty of money.

That was an awful point.

Alabama will beat LSU however bad they want to.

Auburn and Arkansas will win by 14-17 points over LSU.

You may very well end up being right. However, Arky and Auburn's style plays right into LSU's hands IMO. I'm sure both will be close games.

I give Auburn and Arky the edge cause they're at home, but I doubt LSU loses by 14-17 in both (or either of) those games ... that seems a little irrational and certainly goes against the long-established trend in both of those series.

I'm not sure why Kiffin picture was even posted. He never even faced LSU.

The even year schedule for LSU is always a bitch, at WMS, the Swamp, and JHS.

Next year will be a bigger bitch.

3 of the 1st 4 games are on the road.

Oregon is our opener.

Fewer home games.

Why are OM fans allowed in football discussions?

That means LSU is 31-14 while being handicapped by its own coach. Put Saban, Meyer or Spurrier with that talent over the last 5 years and LSU would be around 36-9 and 1 to 2 more trophies in the case IMO! LSU arguably has the best recruiting profile in the conference a trained monkey could win there!
