Kentucky has the tradition of everyone standing together and singing "My Old Kentucky Home" on Senior Day. There certainly seems to be a lot of reference to "darkies".
1st Verse

The second verse is never sung at the end of games and the modern version replaces "darkies" with "people." Good try though.
