I did not think LSU looked dominant. Hello.. it was 30-27 in the 4th quarter. TCU scored 27 points on LSU.
They haven't scored that many points since an overtime game against WVU in the middle of the season last year.
Alabama didn't have a great game, but they were never in any danger against Vtech.
USCe, Alabama, Florida, and LSU all took care of business and looked dominant at times, but all have weaknesses this year.

6 year old with a crayon could come up with a better list.

quote:What did you see as a weakness for USC? Honest question because I was at the game and haven't been able to rewatch it. I think we looked pretty good in all phases and would like an outsider's perspective. (but don't just say "Clowney was gassed")

South Carolina's biggest issue was that they had trouble getting North Carolina off of the field.
UNC converted 7 of 19 third downs and 3 of 4 fourth downs, and that allowed them to rattle off 79 plays, 20 more plays that USCe ran, which allowed UNC to tire out USCe's defense.
And the thing that kind of stood out was that USCe doesn't feel confident apparently in the rotation of their #2's on defense, because even with a gassed defense you didn't see a lot of rotation on defense, or at least, I didn't see it.
Also, the offense still isn't where Spurrier wants it. The running game is strong, but the passing game is only really serviceable (still better than UF's though).
The only other thing I noticed is the punter doesn't seem to be that good and their kicker is a walk on - although he seemed to do well.
That being said, they are probably the most well rounded team in the east right now.

I respect your opinion but 7 points off of a KO return and one drive started inside the 7 yard line.
It was also 30-17 for a part of the 4th. We then went up by 10, stopped them and went on a 5 min drive culminating in a mercy knee. I got a little nervous at 30-27 but never felt like we were going to lose.

Don't worry, slayerxing. I'm sure there's a Heisman contender out there for you too. Peace out.
