With a five-sack performance Saturday night, Texas A&M's defense now is tied for the lead among all FBS teams for most team sacks this season, according to NCAA.com.

The Aggies have 28 sacks on the year and are locked with Clemson for the top overall spot. Both teams have played seven games and are entering their bye weeks. SMU, which had its bye this past week, has 21 sacks through six games.

Against Florida, linebackers Otaro Alaka and Anthony Hines and defensive tackle Daylon Mack each had sacks on Feleipe Franks. Safety Armani Watts, defensive end Micheal Clemons and linebackers Tyrel Dodson and Keeath Magee each recorded half sacks.

For the season, defensive end Landis Durham leads the Aggies with 5.5 sacks, while Alaka has five. Dodson has 4.5 sacks, and defensive lineman Jarrett Johnson has 3.5.

All in all, 13 Texas A&M defenders have at least a half sack for the year.

Don't worry that bunch of twat will be calling for an entire new staff again in a few weeks, the Aggies are the only bunch that can make the neurotic LSU fanbase seem normal.

Another interesting fact about Aggies defense: blew a 34 point lead to a QB who complains about school being hard.

With Clemson being off this week and play GT the week after, TA&M will likely jump ahead. Clemson also play us (the Citadel) later in the year and we also run triple option. Unless they crush NCST, FSU and SC, TA&M could be ahead of them at the end of the year.

Hell's broke loose in GA, dealing cards, etc.

They are not worrying about aTm self-affirmation Stuart Smally bullshite.

Besides...lets see if y'all can avoid your annual mid-season bending the knee to everyone you meet...being big on tradition and all.
