IMO Auburn will be in a fantastic position for the next few years. I think Marshall keeps his job next year and hopefully improves this offseason as a passer. Jeremy Johnson will RS unless Marshall gets hurt at some point. That leaves JJ with 3 years to run the show.

South Carolina's definition of "set" is very different from mine. If your QB job is open to competition, it's not set.

If your returning senior isn't really a great option that you hope he is beaten by an unproven player, that's not "set".

Sean White will be here also.

Aubies not really that good yet. Witness, they WILL lose to UGA! However, they may not lose the Iron Bowl at JHS ... Believe it!

Hey, I really, REALLY hope y'all are starting DGB next year along with everyone else y'all put on the field against us this past time (and the time before that). That's good news for the Gamecocks.

Dak Prescott and Nick Marshall will be the 2 most game tested QBs in the west next year

I just thought about it for the first time. Both teams should be solid. I can't wait. It's my favorite week of the year!!

It'll pprobably go back to Worley, but wouldn't be surprised to see a 2 QB system with Dobbs.

Yall just need to roll with Dobbs. He has a lot of potential if he puts in the off season work.

Hey, at least Thompson has yet to lose a game he's started, unlike others we all know...

Thompson (career):

19 gms (3 starts), 110-205 (53.7%) for 1,670 yds, 12 td, 5 int

Mauk:

10 gms (4 starts), 62-120 (51.7%) for 951 yds, 10 td, 2 int

Dylan will only have one year to start for us next season, but he has the time and experience to lead our offense. He will not be a first-time "back-up" getting his first taste at the helm. I think that's what most of the USC fans here are trying to say.

As Spurrier stated after the game, Thompson did not play badly versus Missouri: he had one bas pass, but he consistently moved the ball against y'all's defense and put them into positions to score, but a make-able FG was missed and there were 2 lost fumbles which he had nothing to do with...

I doubt very seriously that they think Thompson will lead the SEC at the position next year, and I hope very seriously Mizzou fans don't think that for Mauk, with those numbers...

You just forgot all about ol' Sunshine didn't you?

That's ok, he'll reintroduce himself on Thanksgiving in Starkville.

Bo Wallace will be the most experienced starter at QB in the SEC next year.

How weird is that? The last time we had a 3-year starter was Eli.

I hope we both get our wish then. You play Tompford and we'll play Mauk.

Lot of people believe Bama is getting FSU's backup Jacob Coker.

I didn't realize all the people we had coming back next year, and adding Chubb and Michel.

Maty Mauk with another year of practice/experience under his belt should be a scary thought for SEC East teams.

Mizzou's offense should be even better next season. Gotta feel good about the future (and present) if you're a fan of the Cats from Ol' Mizzou.
