I used to follow all SEC teams all the time but just haven't have the time to keep up with everyone lately.
How is everyone looking?
I've heard some talk with the freshman coming in for aTm or is the guy that finished last year going to be the guy? Bama has a bunch of guys but haven't heard much on a starter. Ole Miss? How bout any battles in the East?

Arky, Miss St, Auburn seem to be all set in the West. Hoping Harris can take command for us but we will see.

Just looking for some good QB talk from the SECR.

Kentucky hasn't named a starter yet but from all accounts Towles will likely be named the guy over Barker. Barker has apparently done a good job pushing Towles in practice but just isn't there yet.

You're really entertained by the lack of eyebrows

I did see Towles play last year, he's not bad. I'd take him.

It's a win/win either way IMO. I like Towles and if his accuracy has improved he'll be in good shape. Barker has a big upside but I don't know that Stoops is willing to turn over the reigns when he's having issues keeping his shite together off the field.

Harris has the potential to be a 2,500 passer and 500 yd rusher 30+ td season with this receiving corp, O-line, and backfield. Jennings is more of a 1,600 passer 300 yd rusher 14-16 td's. Harris is going to win the job this year and make some noise throughout the SEC this year, book it.

And the sad part is, miles would probably give Jennings a chance to start when he gets back and still consider the competition 'open'

Ole Miss

Battle between Ryan Buchanan and Chad Kelly. DeVante Kincaid is also in it but most people think he is out of the race. However he will probably get some packages to play in third down situations. Most think the battle will be won by Kelly he is more talented than the other two but, who knows if he can learn the play book in time.

The odds on favorite would be Kyle Allen (soph), but he'll have a battle in camp with Kyler Murray (freshman).

A&M - I think it will be Kyle Allen, but Murray is for real. Nobody really knows, including the coaches.

At least he has Juco experience. Should help. The little bit of film I've seen during recruiting, he looks like he has the tools.

Vandy: Couple of sophomores, Freebeck vs. McCrary. Mason has said he plans to redshirt true freshman Kyle Shurmur (son of Eagles' OC Pat Shurmur). Decision largely up to our new OC Andy Ludwig.

It's like a foot fetish and it gets under the skin of UT, so I'm embracing the fetish myself.

Will Murray play another position as a freshman if Allen is 'the guy'?
