How so? I said exactly what I wanted to say. Missouri deserves respect for the last 2 years work, and will deserve more if they can maintain that level once Florida and Tennessee return to form, and/or Georgia and South Carolina finally play to the level they recruit.

Kiss my arse, I guess, if they can't handle someone actually giving credit where it is due.

Well here's the problem: we can only win because the East is down & IF we keep winning the East is always down.

Sounds like some of you have been the Longhorn's bitch for too long. If that is what you think the problem is, more power to you dude. I didn't say any of that.

If you are unable to recognize the reality that Florida going 11-13 over a 2 year span, with Tennessee going 12-13 over the same span may never happen again in the history of the world, I can't help you. SC had a good season year before last at 11-2, then went 7-6. Georgia went 8-5 year before last, and then went 10-3 last year. Essentially, you had a one team competition both years for the East.

I tried giving you credit for bitching out the East the last two years, but you want none of it. I must act like the East was as good as they have traditionally been too? Go back to the Texas 12. You're more suited for their drama.

no sweat lil Tiger!

(music for this post: LINK )

Everyone is all bothered that we have to replace the DL and WR groups, (yea like we've never done that before right!)

Consider we have one of the top DT's in the nation coming in and he will be ready to play, we have one of the best Dline coaches on the planet and one of the best strength program directors to help out there.

Our skill positions, DB,RB, and WR are as good as they ever have been, kids like Steward, Moore, Brown and Ross are going to be SEC household names, keep your head, it's not like this is our first rodeo.

We have a new DC, a Tiger, coming back and Odom will undoubtedly be an improvement at scheming our defense. Our Linebacker talent is on a level with the best we've had recently, and Spoon, Gooden and Wilson were not scrubs..

We're going to have to have better play out of Mauk, not denying that at all, but he's a kid with exactly 1.25 years of experience playing college football, is it really time to write off his career already?

The thing that's been entirely overlooked by just about everyone is a returning offensive line that's been responsible for 2 SEC East titles, we replaced Britt and now Morse, we lost two NFLers and we still aren't going to skip a beat at this group. We are THAT GOOD!

Our schedule lines up nicely, we don't have to come out the gate full balls and if UGA reliably brainfarts just one game away, we can slide right back into ATL..

next track: LINK

I understand why everyone else is writing us off, as usual... again, but I don't understand why the same Mizzou fans that where so high on this Mizzou program the last two seasons are doing the same thing. Why have you decided to start listening to the same media that was wrong about us the last two seasons? We've had enough 5th downs and kicked TDs for one lifetime, let's get ready for this ride..

Yeah, it's not like we've been in the division that includes Alabama, LSU, and Auburn since 1992 or anything.

Well thats even worse. The East was clearly the better division for a good chunk of your time in the SEC. Do you all even think before you post stuff?

We didn't back into the championship either year. Both years we had a conference loss early and then needed to run the table to get into the championship. That's the opposite of backing in. In 2013 we had to win our last four games to win the East. We did. Last year we had to win our last six conference games to win the East. We did.

The last time the East was really weak was 2010 when SCAR won with a 5-3 conference record, Florida came in second at 4-4, and everyone else was below .500. 2013 was one of the East's stronger seasons in recent history, but since it was Mizzou and SCAR at the top instead of some combination of Georgia, Tennessee, and Florida, dumbasses around the country keep saying the East was down. The East wasn't great last season, but it wasn't terrible.

Hey...there you are. I am still wondering why you quit posting stuff about college baseball halfway thru the season. Any ideas?

Let me be the first to admit, I fully expected Missouri to get slaughtered by the SEC schedule, even with them being pretty much pampered along. They have performed better than expected, but before you pound your chest too hard, consider that Florida has taken a nosedive recently, Georgia continues to shite the bed at the most inopportune time, and South Carolina did the cheap tent trick last year.

Missouri beat three teams in a row that were red hot and coming off some of their biggest wins of the season down the stretch - A&M, Tennessee and Arkansas - all media darling Flavor of the Week's.

Mizzou EARNED their ticket to Atlanta. Too fricking bad Bert couldn't do anything about it.
