It's almost as if they took quality of competition into consideration!

If they did that, shouldn't Chubb get it since he played the better team and he had about the same stat line?

Fixed. I misread Myles Garrett's award. Apologies to Florida fans.

83 yards of that came on one play when the score was 38-3. Before that play he only had 19 carries for 63 yards or something like that.

So he's penalized for having a long run? How does that make sense? Chubb was playing the better team. That is apparently how it is done.

No. He is penalized for being on a team that lost by 28 points at home.

And also, people who vote on this are just smart enough to know he was being stoned the entire game (save for the one play) while Henry was consistently getting 4 and 5 yards on every carry.

It also must be noted that the Alabama defense blew their assignment on that long run. There was literally no backside help from the linebackers on that play as they went to the wrong gap.

Yes, but that is exactly why you have to factor in the competition. Chubb played a team that was four touchdowns better than his team and put up the same stat line as the guy who won the award. Henry played a team that was four touchdowns worse than his team.
