but it does setup nicely to get the team focused and ready before the division matchup with you guys. Still think we lose that one just due to the amount of experience you guys will have on the field and the fact that I've yet to see a UGA team handle a mobile QB particularly well in recent years.

I wouldn't be shocked if you pulled the upset. The UT-UGA game is close pretty much every single year, seems like every game is decided by 3-8 points. Plus the game is in Athens

On paper we're 5x more likely to lose to UGA than UF, but we aren't fricking cursed against UGA like we are against UF so who knows.

I see at least 2 (possibly 3-4) losses coming from: UNC, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Florida

Maybe 1 loss coming from Auburn or Ga Tech

Probable wins against Vandy, Nicholls State, Missouri, South Carolina, Kentucky, La-La

I agree with this, although I think any of our losses will be against the first 4 you mentioned, I just don't see us dropping a game to Auburn or Ga Tech this year.

8 to me is the ABSOLUTE floor for this year, and that would be basically dropping all of our games against good opponents.

11 games is probably the highest, and that would be keeping everyone healthy, and if Eason comes out playing well.

So 9-10 games would be expected, I am fine with that record too, as long as the losses are close. I am hoping we are done with blowout losses.

10-2 maybe 11-1 if B. Harris can improve as the season goes on. With Fournette, Dupre, & Dural all returning the offense definitely has the ability to be explosive but it all rides on Harris and the OL. This should be the best LSU team since 2011. We won't be as good on offense as the 2013 team but it should be the best defense we've had since that 2011 team.

We finally return some important Jrs and should have adequate depth on the DL. This DL should actually be a strength for LSU instead of a weakness like in the last few years. The LB's should be strong but we are short on experience in this group with only Beckwith and Riley seeing any considerable playing time. We return everyone in the secondary except Mills who missed most of last season with injury. This years DB's should rival the 2011 teams with White and Tolliver locking down the corners, throw in D. Jackson as the nickel. I look for Jamal Adams to have a huge season. The secondary is probably our deepest and most talented group.

No shite! Don't feel like looking it up, but that would mean your road schedule on alternate years is:

aTm
Moo St
Aubie
+rotational East

I guess when you think about it, this year has traditionally been the easier half for most of the last decade, with LSU being the top heavy matchup, but with Ole Miss making strides, Arkansas seemingly improving, and Tennessee looking like the team to beat in the east, this year has snuck up and gotten difficult. Up until this season, you probably would say those would have been balanced too.

Ill give y'all 8-5 with losses to Ole Miss, Bama, Georgia, Arkansas, and Clemson. maybe 9-4 or 10-3 if you guys get hot later during the season. Pretty backloaded schedule though.

South Carolina - Toss Up (huge game for Mason, could set tone for the season)
MTSU - Win
@ GA Tech - Toss Up
@ WKU - Win (Western loses too much)
Florida - Loss
@ UK - Win
@ UGA - Loss
Tennessee State - Win
@ Auburn - Loss
@ Missouri - Toss Up (leaning W though)
Ole Miss - Loss
Tennessee - Loss

Defense should be very very good next season & deep. Special Teams has to improve, gave up way too many big plays and cost VU a bowl last season in the losses to Western & Florida. VU did sign Brandon Kornblum's #1 Punter nationally Sam Loy who should punt and handle kickoffs immediately. As good as the defense was and projects to be having a guy that flips the field on punts & gets the ball through the end zone on kickoffs would be huge.

Offense is the giant question mark though, season really boils down to how much Kyle Shumur & the WRs improve in the offseason.

Sept. 3: vs. USC in Arlington, Texas - W, However this game will depend on how our offense looks with a new QB.

Sept. 10: vs. Western Kentucky - W

Sept. 17: at Ole Miss - Toss up. Freezeus has had our # the past two seasons. If we can avoid 85 turnovers in the first half I feel that we can win.

Sept. 24: vs. Kent State - W

Oct. 1: vs. Kentucky - W

Oct. 8: at Arkansas - W Will be a very tough win if Arky keeps improving like they are.

Oct. 15: at Tennessee - W B/c frick ut

Oct. 22: vs. Texas A&M - W

Oct: 29: open

Nov. 5: at LSU - Toss Up. By now our O is either on fire or sucking more dick than Sasha Grey.

Nov. 12: Mississippi State - W

Nov. 19: vs. Chattanooga - W

Nov. 26: vs. Auburn - W

12-0 to 9-3 is a possibility. Kiffin will have a lot of tools on offense to work with and the D will still be stout, how quickly our O gels will be key.
