2. Three-Team Tie (or more).
If three teams (or more) are tied for a division title, the following procedure will be used in the following order: (Note: If one of the procedures results in one team being eliminated and two remaining, the two-team tiebreaker procedure as stated in No. 1 above will be used):

A. Combined head-to-head record among the tied teams;
B. Record of the tied teams within the division;
C. Head-to-head competition against the team within the division with the best overall Conference record (divisional and non-divisional) and proceeding through the division (multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last and a tie for first place will be broken before a tie for fourth place);
D. Overall Conference record against non-divisional teams;
E. Combined record against all common non-divisional teams;
F. Record against the common non-divisional team with the best overall Conference record (divisional and non-divisional) and proceeding through other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division; and
G.Combined SEC record of the team’s cross-divisional opponents

Cool WG-D, so if all teams are 11-1 items F & G would determine who is top dog (so to speak).

I think LSU could easily go 11-1 as well this season and if that was the case that might put UF in the drivers seat for a SECCG rematch.

Man that would suck

Not necessarily, it'd go to D first I believe, record against the west teams. If all 3 teams have the same west record, it would skip E since we don't all have a common west opponent, then go to F.

True nightmare scenario:

UF 5-3, loses to Bama, Vandy, UGA
USC 5-3, loses to AU, UF, Mizzou
UGA 5-3, loses to AU, USC, Mizzou
Mizzou 5-3, loses to TAMU, UF, UT

Everyone is 4-2 in the division with one other western division loss.

Unrelated question, but this thread made me think about it for some reason.

The AU v. UGA game is always so late in the year. Suppose one of the two comes in undefeated at 9-0. Doesn't the game not matter for anything besides pride and seeding purposes now that we have a four team playoff? The undefeated team does not need to win the game necessarily.

I guess 4 other teams could go undefeated across the country, but you could almost bet your bottom dollar that a 12-1 SEC champion gets into the playoff every year.

It's not going to happen, so there is no point in thinking about it.

'Gotcha!
SC has aTm & @AU
UGA has @Hog & AU
FL has LSU & @UAt

Should make it interesting...

Happened in 03, so it's not like the Cubs winning the World Series...

I don't think we'll win the east, but I think we knock off 1 of those teams. Would you agree?

Not directed at me, but...unless UF lays an absolute egg in Knoxville, then, no, I do not agree.

Agreed:

UF could lose on November 15th to South Carolina and still take the SECE slot for the CG if the cards fell right and LSU or Alabama has a better season than aTm or Arkansas....

Menlo, I love the Dawgs. Every Saturday everyone knows the big screen belongs to me. And, of course, I graduated from USC.

That said, I don't think Tennessee is out of the race by any stretch. One thing, the Vol fans are about ready to explode. And all of them know what kind of talent the Vols have.

Now, Spurrier turned down Worley and I am not high on him either. But the Vols will be playing to win this year, rather than not to lose.

I am predicting at least nine wins for those hillbilly snake handlers. And than nine could go to 10 or even 11. Why? Because this year the Vols have something they haven't had for a while: depth.

I respect your opinion, but I could not disagree more. If UT reaches 7 wins it will be a successful season.

Well then it goes to UF , because LSU and BAMA won't combine for more than 4 sec losses, and AUBIE will have 4 on their own , to screw UGA and USC
