if they would just give up on the regional aspect and let people have a single main Pac12Net instead of forcing them to have 7 channels it would get picked up by DTV and start raking in a ton more money.
I would enjoy having the Pac 12 network if it was set up like the SEC network.

Good. Now, maybe they can afford to upgrade their programming.

Regarding "upgrading their programming", these figures pretty much guarantee that we are stuck with Finebaum for a while. I don't watch him any more, but I am sure his Jerry Springer'ish type show brings in its share of ratings.

I think you are right he's not going away but this doesn't really have much to do with it. These are subscriber fees that really aren't ratings driven at all given the contracts were all signed prior to the football season even
I'm curious how much the expense base is. I suspect it's far higher than BTN for instance as the production value far exceeds it. This also doesn't take into account ad revenue or Plus revenue (believe there is a per subscriber fee there too, though incredibly small). Will also be pretty interesting when Nielson starts rating it.
Right now I don't think ESPN even really has a clear picture of which programs are popular. They likely have a real good idea of sports and schools via web hits on Plus but I'm not sure how they'd know for things like Finebaum

LSU's ticket prices are in the same range of every other major college football program. We're self-sufficient and even donate a ton of money to the academic side. Everyone but Tom Jurich, who would slap Exxon and Chevron on every facility on campus, would implement a moderate increase in ticket prices
Yet aleva still used uncertainty of the sec network as an excuse.

Most valuable sports networks. But still impressive.
NBA, NHL, and MLB not sports networks?

And to think. It was only possible because of Texas A&M. You're welcome.

Basically same as the channels or stations. Like MLB Network, NFL Network, etc.
Very impressive for 14 college athletic teams.

Hope they have shows in the future about campuses, college history, stadium history, etc.

I didn't see the Longwhorn Network listed.
That was one of the first things I noticed as well.
