SEC needs the state of Alabama...not the other way around

I believe this bowl season has brought it to light once again. You could even throw Auburn in there considering the national championship has featured an Alabama team FIVE years in a row (TBD this year).
How does it make you feel that the last two SEC Champions had converted skill players at QB? Hope y'all enjoy watching the big boys of the SEC plaster the best that the B1G has to offer.

I assume you're discussing 1997-2007. The time period in which Alabama had three ten win seasons and an SEC championship, which was the second worst period in team history. How does it feel to know that LSU at its best is barely better than Bama at its worst?

That was, like, for about 15 minutes. The SEC has always revolved around Bama, and AU to a lesser extent.
I doubt that a single state has had the run for consecutive NCG appearances that the state of Alabama has had the last five or six years.
Unprecedented.

Same thing next year - I expect to AU to represent in 2015 if not then for sure in 2017
