SEC Moments of the Decade:

Arkansas-Ole Miss 7 OT's
Arkansas-Kentucky 7 OT's
Arkansas-Tennessee 6 OT's

3 longest games in the history of college football.

Widely recognized as the greatest Heisman speech ever, and far more significant than a play that helped an 8-5 LSU team beat a horrible Kentucky team.

You didn't watch ESPN during the few weeks following the ceremony, or the pre-game coverage of the National Championship game, did you?

I disagree with Alabama being #1 on the list. Some I would put on there though...

"And Flynn is back to throw!! For the endzone!!! Touchdown!!!"

Wasn't there some ridiculous 6 or 7 OT game with Ole Miss? That should be on there.

I think Arkansas fumbling the punt in the SEC Championship allowing Florida to take control of the game could be on there.

Skip Bayless was one of the first people to proclaim it the best ever.

Kirk Herbstreit echoed his sentiments during the BCS coverage.

One more I would like to add to the list:

The implementation of the Wildcat offense by Gus Malzahn, a year removed from the HS ranks.

It spread like wildfire and has probably had a wider range of impact in the NCAA/NFL than any number of individual or team performances.

Yeah, probably just part of the ESPN conspiracy.

Forida over Ohio St. is the SEC's #1 moment of the last decade. Y'all who think different must have forgotten how OSU was favored and many were making fun of Flordia's sandlot offense. Troy Smith done won hisself a Heisman. Whole lotta yankee's was shocked that night I tell ya and many a ohioian still awakes in the middle of the night with SEC SEC SEC ringin' in his ears.

Auburns punt block on Florida followed by the flip into the endzone should be top 5. Petersons int against Bama in 09 is #1.

Spurrier's return? Really?

Spurrier resigning from Florida is probably a much bigger, more defining moment in SEC history. Surprised that is not on there.

LSU's 2-loss national championship should definitely be #1.
