The bigger they are the more ads to put on them. That's about it.

You are wrong about that. It is a great way to watch replays. I really enjoyed that big screen at Kyle last season.

Im not wrong. You are. Jags now have the biggest jumbotron in the world. It's gaudy. They just put more ads.

Replays are a bit bigger but who cares.

Sure there are a lot of ads, but you don't have to watch them.

It is nice on replays to be able to clearly see the play. It makes the in-stadium experience closer to the home experience.

If I was wrong there wouldn't be this race to put these huge screens in stadiums.

Yep, that's precisely the point. Now, on to serving beer.

You are wrong. I could see the replays just fine on the last one.

It's a stupid competition. There's a limit to how big they can be so it'll be a short tournament thankfully.

The last one to upgrade, wins.

Kyle had very few ads while the scoreboard is in use. You want ads? Watch the A&M @ LSU game tonight and tomorrow. Alex Box has more than any park I've ever seen.

I did notice that there were ads everyone save for the bases themselves.

Oh no doubt. LSU baseball is a moneymaker and they maximize that dollar.

Most schools dont make money on baseball.

This is only looking at the largest board in the stadium? UF's second is 75 x 35.

Very true. That is an impressive feat. You gotta weight the pros and cons of it. I am greatful that Olsen minimizes them and places them in a very clean manner.

I'd prefer not to have them, but every MLB stadium in the country is littered with them. Bertman was a hustler making LSU a profitable program, so he started the idea.

My biggest issue isnt the ads themselves. It's the Tony's ad right behind home plate is wrinkled. I dont know how it got that way but you would think they would fix it since it's in the camera for every pitch.

What is the fascination with a jumbotrons?

Who gives a shite about them.

The massive ones are a distraction anyway.

It'll look fine. Question is whether there are plans to edge around it. to make it look less like a giant screen stuck on the end of a stadium.

It's going to have static displays on the end, which will help. They need to get moving on the other endzone so we can get a display up over there.

Also not that i really care about jumbotron rankings but lsu has 3 video boards, and these stats are only for their 1.
