I know Chuck .... casually. He wanted to be the radio voice of the SEC at one time. He did a tour around all SEC towns probably around 2000 or so and I let them do a remote from one of my restaurants while in Columbia.

He's a nice guy but can be pretty far out there when he's trolling. I had heard he was trying to partner with Mike Morgan a few years ago down in Atlanta to take another stab at the syndication thing but it fell through. I ran into him twice in Atlanta at the SECCG over the past seven or eight years ... that whole farm league thing is still pretty funny though.

Chuck and Chernoff is great. They are much more like Pardon My Take than Finebaum.

Basically, a bunch of AAC/Conference USA/Sun Belt teams would make up a lower tier SEC and there would be a system of promotion and relegation like in diveball. I love Chuck Oliver but the idea is stupid.

He most certainly is not.

It's such a great show. Atlanta homers but smart, give enough intelligent stuff and do smartass funny stuff. Don't take themselves too seriously. Just feels like you are sitting at a bar hanging out.

Chuck and Chernoff are quite good. Arguably the only good sports radio in Atlanta at all.

Definitely the only good sports on 680. I have only dabbled with 92.9 but most of the shows I've heard pieces of there are typical sports talk junk.

C&C is fun.

Lets do it:
Alabama=UAB
Auburn=Troy
Arkansas=Arky State
Florida=Central Florida
LSU=La Tech
Kentucky=Western Kentucky
Georgia=Georgia State
UT=Middle Tennesee State
A&M=North Texas
Vandy=App State?
USCe=?
Missouri=?
MSU=South Alabama?
Ole Miss=Southern Miss
Would be fun to have a little bro school to root for

Figuratively, how is he like Finebaum?

That they both have a radio show?

Only connection I can come up with cause they are nothing alike

The two shows couldn't be anymore different if they tried.

Chuck Oliver is really good IMO. He may have some interesting opinions but they are well thought out. He does not say BS just to get a reaction.

I like the idea of relegation in pro sports. Not sure about college. Fair schedule making would be impossible.

Swap UT and Vandys and you have my vote, sir.

Maybe Houston for aTm?
