Furthermore. the only thing LSU continues to prove is they can't trot out a serviceable quarterback or competent offense. The offense must deliver before people will start believing in them as a contender.

But that's the point. We got rid of the incompetent part.

What did BS pick them to finish. All I hear is that he always picks them low, but nobody shows any evidence.

Bruh fricking google it. It's really not that difficult.

Here's a teaser: He hasn't picked LSU to finish higher than 5th in the last two years.

So he was one off.

At much as it pisses me off during the preseason, he is right about LSU more often than not.

Incorrect, again. I'm starting to see that's a bit of a pattern with you.

Bet Barrett got offended at some random twitter response to this article

I've read his twitter before. He makes Trump look like a true stoic.

Prove me wrong. That is the pattern that I see from you, failure to back up your claims.

"barrett sallee 2016 sec west predictions"

Just copy and paste that into google. Like I said earlier, get ready to move the goal posts again because you won't like what you see.

You being too slow to use a search engine isn't my problem.

Barrett's LSU prediction for the last 5 years, without fail, has been "Les' prehistoric philosophy is holding the Tigers back on offense," which honestly was not wrong. It was amusing to see tRant freak out about it even though technically a vast majority agreed with the premise.

The fact that he made basically the same reasoning this year (especially with Canada as OC) makes this year's prediction come off as lazy.

That's because Sallee is a reactionary hack who's looking for clicks, and anyone with a modicum of intelligence knows it.

For sure. I remember getting so damn angry at their B/R videos a couple years ago.

Now I just tune it out. The man gets some serious engagement on anything he says about LSU on twitter

Sallee does this to LSU every year, like clockwork.
Part of the offseason tradition.

He was so disappointed he couldn't put us there with you that he created a whole new category just for us. First SEC team out of the top 25/Most likely to fall out and STAY OUT according to him.

Sallee's picks are always 'let me see what is trendy/fashionable right now.' Then it's 'Ok I'll pick that team and/or say that.' Whatever the majority of the media believes in any given year is what he's most likely to say.

Seriously? Why sully this conversation with needless political talk?

It's recent and relevant kid. Saying one mans name won't make it political. He was the first underdog to come from behind and make people cry that I could think of.

What's the big deal? He's pretty spot on every time.

Why would anyone think LSU is going to be any good with Orgeron as the head coach? He hasn't proven anything yet.

Furthermore. the only thing LSU continues to prove is they can't trot out a serviceable quarterback or competent offense. The offense must deliver before people will start believing in them as a contender.

Didn't Orgeron proceed to set offensive records as soon as he took over with a TE coach as his coordinator?

That was my thought when I saw it too.

Has a bunch of SEC stuff he does beside his name, but I don't even know who he is; I didn't think everyone would get bent out of shape about what someone most people have never heard of thought about them in the preseason. I guess he's a big Auburn homer?
