Except that the answer is always the same... We don't know who we are and are terribly conflicted about it + meth.

I have nothing against Missouri and go to KC about once a year. On my first visit, I asked about the whole Kansas/Missouri rivalry thing. Even living with the AU/UA stuff year round, I left thinking "you F'ers are crazy."

whether MY team can compete in the SEC.

The answer to that is easy. It's a two letter word and starts with "n" if that helps you.

You've got to be kidding, right?

There is no way they are crazier than the Alabama-Auburn rivalry.

no need to get riled up. That's the the nature of things around here. When the season starts post like where to eat, drink, stay, etc. will be apprecaited.

The whole MU/KU rivalry isn't a joke. These guys HATE each other. I mean, this shite is almost biblical.

No, it isn't. It is just more comprehensive in the KC area. A rivalry that bridges metropolitan politics, the civil war, identity, plus sports equals a angry clusterfrick. A normal intense rivalry, I can understand. Kansas/Mizzou is something different.

Yes the KU MU thing is fricking crazy. We absolutely hate each others guts. We can't even be civil to each other. Most of us are raised from a very young age to HATE the beakers. On the flip side most of them are raised to HATE the Tigers. When we used to play them in Football the tailgating had to be separated. KU on one side of the stadium and MU on the other. Many people take it too far. I have seen tires slashed, cars keyed etc. It is a hate that has no equal.

There is no rivalry like Missouri - kansas. And thats not bragging saying that its "more of a rivalry" or a "better rivalry". Im really not but Missouri - kansas very often approaches and crosses levels that really shouldnt happen in Collegiate Sports.

roadGator,

A Culver's butter burger is AWESOME. Bun is buttered and then toasted. The burger is usually a double patty with cheese and any other toppings you may want.

Culver's is pretty good. I never had a reason to go there over other places, though.
