Basically got kicked off his senior year and coach allowed him to stick around and keep it under wraps. The team did not care for him at all and wanted him out. He made up with Haack and now, since he officially graduated, they put his golf bag on the wall with the others at the UGA course.

I'm sure there've been thousands of bama players that teammates didn't care for but that doesnt' make their bama affiliation any less legitimate.

I'm not saying he isn't a UGA guy like the previous guy was, but the way the Georgia guys talk off the record (and even on, at times) about him is really something to read. Especially from that group, because UGA golfers that their PGA fraternity super seriously.
On a side note, I was in Augusta yesterday and watched Patrick Reed tee off 10. Hilarious how much everyone in the gallery dislikes him.

Holmes started off 10 yesterday right before Reed (and after Herman who won the Houston Open, which wsa cool). Holmes hit his tee shot and then grabbed his burger from his caddy and walked down the fairway with a giant double burger in his hand just attacking it.
He was cracking jokes with the gallery about it. It was awesome.
