No injured players were booed. The 15th player that had "cramps" and then jumped up and jogged off was who got booed as well as the player that had no one around him and looked to the sidelines and jumped in the air suddenly grabbing his leg with "cramps".

The guys that did a decent job faking got at least a nice clap and the very few that actually were hurt were treated very respectfully. A&M actually has a strong reputation for treating injured players very respectfully. Silent Kyle

Do too much faking though to mess with the offensive timing and eventually the fans are going to get annoyed.

Butthurt after talking all that shite this week, aren't ya?

What game were you watching? No one was booed until late in the second half. There was one play in the first half that a guy had a viscous hit and was down where folks were making noise about the hit but and the replay but by then it quieted and he was given applause as he got up.

I heard the same boos, but the previous poster cleared it up. Apparently, Florida was faking injuries.

The injuries killed our offensive tempo...now stop derailing the thread

Not butthurt, just explaining. A&M did the same tactic to OSU last year so we aren't innocent. It's just frustrating as a fan when everyone keeps going down with "cramps", I didn't like it when our team did it either.

Yes.

Now ask if Bama will continue to sing about Sewanee.

I wouldn't doubt it since Bama's still has Georgia Tech and the Rose Bowl in it.

It got pretty Rediculous in the 4th quarter. The refs actually told them to stop. It was like watching a soccer game on telemundo, dives everywhere.

Sorry for the booing. In all fairness, it was dead quiet when the first four guys droped down for cramps. When the linebacker went down you could hear a pin drop when the fans realized he was hurt. When guys go down for cramps due to the quick no hiddle offense, the fans see that as trying to slow down the game. Florida was called out for being out of shape against bowling green and it was clear the heat got them yesterday.

When they started droping like flies into the second half, yes the fans started booing and that is still not right. But did you notice A) no aggies left the game with cramps. B) I think I am correct that the Gators only had cramps when we had the ball C) Almost every one of the players carried off the field except the line backer magically ran back on the field the same series. The florida fans AT THE GAME by us agreed it was embarrassing how out of shape they were in.

That still does not make it right and anyone who thinks Aggie fans would boo a player that is really hurt does not know aggies. Let me appologize for the 12th man..

Though I didn't attend the game, I did go through College Station in July and I saw their stadium and school and my impression is that it is a glorified Starkville. However, the play on the field and the enthusiasm is SEC caliber, for sure. But I'm never going to be okay with this 'yell leader' situation.

Is Bama trying to get out from under Sewanee's shadow as well?

You could have avoided the chastising by reading the copious amounts of strategically placed signs requesting that you not wear a hat in the MSC or walk on its grass.

The door you walked through specifically says "no hats," and provides the reason why. I know you walked through such door because literally all of them say that.

There are also signs all over the ~2 acres (at most) grass which kindly inform you not to walk on it.

No, our book depository is not within 4-5 miles of the grassy knoll.

Back to the OP. I visited with quite a few gators and gave out a few beers. Most of them were very kind. Got a lot of positive reviews about getting to go on the field after the game which actually has only been going on at A&M for the last decade or so. I was very impressed with how far so many folks traveled for the game, many by car.

Only bad experience I had was when I was down on the field a gator guy came up to me and offered me $5 to be able to try a field goal with my football (I was playing with my son). I told him to keep his money but held it for him and let him try. He shanked it and it hit a guy in the head pretty badly and he immediately took off so I went over to the guy and apologized and made sure he was ok which he was. It's a hazard down there and people get hit but no reason to be an arse.
