Farrell's is a good place.

Chef-driven menu, tons of beer selection, and big ole TVs with sports.

I always drop a lot of $$ when I go there, though. Best "sports bar" food I've had.

They are adding about 1000 SF to their 3000 SF restaurant over the summer.

In tuscaloosa--Daytime

Houndstooth if you want to party with both fanbases

Gallettes if you want to party with frat stars.

Both are on the strip less than 1/4 mile from the stadium and both are packed on gamedays. Houndstooth also has a BBQ shack set up right next door with what may be the worlds best BBQ nachos.

After the game I prefer the downtown area or bear trap on the strip, copper top is pretty cool but it's easy to bar hop down there. Everywhere is going to be crowded on gamedays though

It's been along time since I have been in BR, but the Caterie was a pretty good burger joint. Don't know if it still exists.

The Caterie burned down on New Year's Day 2010.
