That looks nice. What will the final capacity be?

Both video boards will be up this fall. I assume they are just getting the steel in for the building, so they can put the screen on top of it. They haven't started framing the towers, which will contain new staircases and elevators to the upper levels.

78k + SRO, I believe. Might be able to get 80k in for bigger games.

Now that it is clear what it looks like closed-in, I'm happier that they left one corner open. Without it, you could not really tell the size of the stadium, because it is about 1/3 underground.

Eerily similar graphic visual to Baylor's McLane Stadium rendering...

No way. The people in ours are wearing Razorback shirts. The Baylor one has people wearing Baylor stuff. Get a clue.

That's funny. Somebody was lazy during the early renderings.
Truth is the final design won't look like this anyways.
Things always change over the course of construction.
For example our basketball practice facility:

The football stadiums in the SEC West have received a significant upgrade since 2000.
Wish Ole Miss could do a better job of a consistent look and feel but it's still a major upgrade from where it was almost twenty years ago.

Post of the thread but it might go unappreciated by some.

That Bud Walton Arena renovation rendering is sexy.
I'm sure they'll hand it over to one of the local modernist firms to completely frick it up, though.
