SOME LSU fans don't want that, not fair

I've always found it amusing that most UF fans want to keep the annual game going, while most LSU fans want it to end yesterday.

I bet you found it amusing when Mizzou, Kentucky, and Tennessee flooded the schedule too and then came on a message board and bitched at LSU fans for not finding it amuzing

You don't get it. The reason i hate cross diversion games has nothing do with how good Florida is. I hate them because with the 1-1 system we won't see team from the east for a decade.

Like I said, somewhat geographical. I really just took the 4 major geographical regions of the South and used them as the titles. The "Delta" especially is a limited area.

But I would argue that South Georgia could be considered Gulf. There's only like 50 miles of Florida between the two.

I get that, and that does suck. But even with a 6-2 format, you still won't see teams from the east all that often (what, every 6 1/2 years if you do a home & home?).

This is why going to a pod system at 16 teams is so important. If the SEC just divides up into 2 divisions it will basically be 2 separate conferences whose champions play in Dec. With pods, LSU will be playing the school in the other pods every 3 years at the most.

But with that said, that isn't why the PTB at LSU didn't want permanent cross divisional games.

If we stay at 14 move the schedule to 9 or 10 but for whatever reason that's not happening.

Because UF, UGA, & USCe (and maybe UK) think for some reason it will cause them to either have to give up their instate rivalry game, or will put them at some other scheduling disadvantage.
