From the link in the op:

Missouri

Frank Haith will work with an almost entirely different core of players for the third straight season at Missouri but should still be able to make the Field of 68 for a third time in three years. The reason is because of the return of Jabari Brown, Earnest Ross and Tony Criswell, the enrollment of a heralded recruiting class highlighted by four-star prospects Johnathan Williams III and Wes Clark, and the addition of Jordan Clarkson -- a transfer from Tulsa who can really play. Clarkson averaged 16.5 points two years ago as a sophomore at Tulsa. He might be able to match that number this season even against stiffer competition, and if he does the Tigers will finish in the top third of the SEC … provided they get adequate point guard play in the absence of Phil Pressey.

If we make the tournament again (and I'm expecting us to) it would be our 6th time in 6 years not 3rd in 3. Hopefully the improved SEC can get 6 or 7 teams in this year. With a 14 team league I'd like to see us get to a point where we get that many in every year.

Surprised Gottleib has us 4th in his rankings. He usually hates Mizzou. Not sure who Borzello is but for whatever reason he doesn't seem to expect much from us this year.

I am. He might not have the raw talent some of the other kids UK has brought in have, but the guy can play for any other team in the SEC.

I don't think you will but it's because I think most people expect LSU to be solid. Really like JOB.

I think he's good but has generally gotten pretty overrated. He's athletic and has good straight-line speed but isn't very quick or agile like Noel or Davis. He also has Noel's offensive skill set, or lack thereof.

He'll be one of the best shot-blockers and rebounders in the country but I'd take Stokes, O'Bryant, and Young over him in All-SEC projections.

I thought Marshall Henderson got kicked off for flunking something like 1700 drug tests?

I'm interested to see how we do without Pressey. He is a very talented player who seemed to just melt down at critical times in games.

Well put.

My first team would probably be Releford, McRae, Hendo, Randle, JOB

NBA scouts who have been to UK practices have said James Young has been the best out of the freshman.

Kentucky could have 3 to 4 on the 1st team All SEC by the end of the year.

Gamecocks are going to surprise some people this year. They'll finish in the top half of the league. 7th would be a major improvement and anything above that would be a major achievement.

Martin, along with a very young team, are going to get it done this season because no one will expect them to do just that.

I can't wait to see hill play. He will get plenty of opportunity while Scotty serves his suspension. I'm interested to see playing time for our guards.

Hill, Wilbekin, Frazier, and Carter is a great group.

And they will complement the best front court in the nation come December and Walker is eligible.

So many questions but we should be really really good. I can't wait.
