since 1980.
Vincent Dooley (4)
Pat Dye (4)
Phil Fulmer (4)
Steve Spurrier (6)
Nick Saban (4)
Does saban surpass Dye an Fulmer this year?
Also..
3 consecutive SEC championships in SEC history:
Spurrier, Dye, Bryant, Dooley, Neyland
Don't see that list expanding.

Not to mention, he also qualifies for the original question in the OP, with 2 or less losses from 80-83.

Fulmer in his prime = Mike Tyson in his prime

So a power puncher who lost to the only legitimate contenders he faced (Spurrier, Saban)?
I see the Tyson comparison. Well done.

The HBC almost made the list twice. Carolina went 11-2 in three consecutive seasons from 2011 - 2013. They bookended that 33-6 run with a 9-5 and 7-6 seasons in 2010 and 2014, respectively.

General Neyland won three consecutive SEC championships in 1938, 1939, and 1940, if we are talking about the whole of SEC history. I believe this addresses the second part of the OP's post.

horseshite.
Your disdain for anything UGA has been duly noted.
If you were around then, which your name suggests (AU83), then it was an obvious subconscious troll.

Vince Dooley would have been a mediocre coach without Herschel Walker.
Won 1 national championship and 3 SEC championships with Walker in 3 years. Won zero national championships and 3 SEC championships in 22 years without Herschel

And Chizick doesn't win the MNC without Cam.
What's your point?
