If Alabama wins. . .

BCS Title game: Alabama vs Notre Dame

Sugar Bowl: Florida vs Oregon/Oklahoma

Capital One: Georgia vs Michigan (locked in as Big ten #2)

Cotton: Texas vs Texas A&M (most likely will be Texas A&M for the rivalry vs Texas)

Outback: Northwestern vs South Carolina

Chick Fil a bowl: Clemson vs LSU

Gator Bowl: Mississippi State vs Wisconsin

. . . Vandy/Ole Miss will get compass/music city.

If Georgia wins . . .

BCS Title game: Georgia vs Notre Dame

Sugar Bowl: Florida vs Oregon/Oklahoma

Capital One Bowl: LSU vs Michigan (with Michigan locked in, the Capital One Bowl won't want a rematch of Michigan/Bama)

Cotton Bowl: Texas vs Texas A&M (Any other year Bama would've dropped to here but no way because of the rivalry)

Outback: Northwestern vs South Carolina (Outback usually takes an SEC east team)

Chick fil a bowl: Clemson vs Alabama

Gator Bowl: Mississippi State vs Wisconsin

Outback is certainly likely but I imagine that game be lowly attended.

I can't imagine NW traveling too well in general.

As for SC.. well we've already been to the Outback Bowl 3 times since 2000. Sure Tampa is a nice city, and it is a winnable game regardless if its NW or anyone else, and sure a few will travel due to the excitement of another good season.. but I can't see SC being able to sell out its allotment to play in the Outback once more.

The Capital One Bowl won't want a rematch of a game that already happened during the season.

LSU vs Michigan would be a more intriguing matchup. They would have the same amount of losses as Alabama.

There is zero chance Alabama goes to the Capital One.

Michigan is locked in as the big tens #2 team.

The Outback bowl might pick Alabama over South Carolina and you guys would I guess play Clemson again in the Chick Fil a bowl.

The Michigan alabama thing is conceivable. But no way bama drops below cotton. Probably. They would prefer bama Texas. ESP Texas not wanting to be embarrassed by tam. Not that bama won't embarrass them but choose you poison. Tam prob goes to cap 1. Jff vs shoelaces

All that does is send Wisconsin to the Rose bowl (again) and Nebraska will go to the gator bowl. Nebraska was in the Capital one bowl last year and the bowl committee will take Michigan 10 times out of 10 over Nebraska again.

Michigan goes to the Capital One Bowl no matter what happens.

Why does everyone think that the Cotton will take two in-state schools? Who's going to lock up hotel rooms? I don't see that happening at all.

No way. Texas vs Texas A&M is a huge rivalry, Texas A&M beat Alabama in the regular season, and Johnny Manziel will be fresh off of the Heisman.

They will take the team with the heisman winner any day. Not to mention the rivalry game.

Ticket sales for that game would be out the roof with the game being in Dallas.

If Alabama went it wouldn't be near as big because they played in Dallas at the beginning of the year. Not as many fans would go.

Cap 1 gets first pick. You think they don't want Johnny heisman

It offensive to consider a bowl match-up between Texas A&M (10-2) and Texas, most likely 8-4 after a loss to KSU next week.

I think a far better and more likely Cotton match-up is A&M (10-2) vs. OU (10-2).

Might be the case. LSU would go to the cotton then.

Alabama still wouldn't get the cotton because they played in dallas at the beginning of the year.

Plus. Texas runs cotton bowl. They are not going to risk being shown up. I understand you want to be right. But think about It from a paranoid family pov. Little brother beating your but in front of 90k in Dallas. Scoring 60 +. Chanting sec sec sec. All game. I don't think so

Oklahoma is projected to go to a BCS bowl as an at-large bid if Kansas State wins.

If Kansas State losses, the Oklahoma wins the Big 12 and gets an automatic bid to the Fiesta Bowl.

Think of the TV ratings, the hype, and the attendance. It would be too good to pass up.

I get the feeling that Bama will go to the Sugar Bowl if it loses a close game to UGA.
