So TAMU, Kentucky, and USCe(maybe) should all be locks for the tourney...which teams still have a shot at making it and what do they have to do to make it?

LSU
UGA
FLA
OM
ARK

With our remaining schedule, barring a complete collapse, we should be in.

We pretty much need to beat LSU on the road and split the Carolina series to even have a shot. And that's just assuming we can avenge road losses to UF and OM and not drop a bad loss to Auburn and just generally not suck so bad.

We're almost guaranteed for the NIT at best at this point

We will be in the NCAAT, maybe even as low as a 12 seed but we'll be there.

I strongly predict we go to the NIT but I think you overstate what we need to do to make the dance.

If we go 8-5 in our remaining games and win one in the SEC tourney we'll have an RPI around 50 and be on the bubble.

Every year people overstate what needs to happen to make the dance. 68 teams get in, many of them are pretty damn mediocre.

I'll predict we go 7-6 down the stretch and are in the NIT but our NCAA chances aren't as slim as most UGA fans think.

The only possible scenario is winning the sec tourney and that's the same for everyone not listed. I love us but no we are not making the dance.

In the RPI UGA is 38 places better than LSU and 50 places better than Arkansas. I don't think we are making the dance, but your post makes you look pretty damn ignorant.

Would have to catch fire and make a deep sec tourney run, not very likely

Nah, UGA really doesn't have much of a chance.

Probable losses to LSU, Kentucky, Vandy, UF (and Baylor OOC). I'll assume we split with USC but that's optimistic. @Auburn and Ole Miss are toss-ups IMO. Beat Arky at home, Auburn at home, @Miss St, and Bama at home (not taking these for granted, esp Bama).

So that leaves us 5-5 in conference play with the two tossups. Not a tourney record. But more importantly we have no good wins other than the early season Clemson game. We beat who we should, lost some we shouldn't, and get blown out where we're expected to lose.

And UGA's trend is definitely downward, whereas LSU has generally been trending in the right direction (TAMU game aside).

Hogs looked decent for a game or two but they looked like I expected them to look against Kentucky last night.

Vandy and Bama both are in better position than UGA and Arkansas

(Although I don't think Bama has any real shot)

Good for him.

At this point neither has the RPI. Bama's conference record in a "meh" conference is terrible. I don't expect Bama to come close to recovering. You'll need to finish 9-4 or better. LSU has the conference record (so far), but a crap record vs the top 50. They're probably going to have 12 losses before the SECT. They're not winning the tourney so they'll likely end with a record around 20-13. It'll be close for them, I think.

Unless UGA goes 11-2 down the stretch, we have no shot at the NCAAs. That'd put us at 21-8 with a Top 50 RPI. We'd likely be a 10 seed. But it ain't happening, so no point in worrying. If we get far in the SEC tournament, maybe Final 4, we may be a bubble team.

Going to be hard for anyone else to really bolster their resume with nothing, save the Big 12 challenge, but SEC games left on the schedule. Win out and it will take care of itself, or get the SECT autobid.

Best shot would be for UGA, Florida, and LSU to get in. Bama has impressive wins, but killed their tournament chances with a poor start in conference and still has to play @USC, @UK, vs Texas A&M, and @Florida.
