Just because you guys have played tough teams in OOC and have lost every single time, doesn't make you better than everybody else. Arky looks slightly better from last year, but that's not saying much.

I agree, it will have you better prepared for tough stretches down the road, but it doesn't make your team amazing just because you've played good teams.

Lost every OOc game?

We just beat OU who just beat aTm by 10.

We've played 2 top 3 teams and were in the game with both and were within two points of Michigan late in the game before home cooking took over.

Marshawn Powell, who was out all of last season is now finally 100%.

Arkansas is much better than a year ago. Only idiots who only look at records early on dont realize that. Arkansas has one of the toughes OOC schedules in the nation.

I didn't say amazing, I think that post even says "We are a bubble team" but that might have been a post in the other basketball thread.

I love the alternative universe that SEC basketball is. A place where SEC fans claim their team sucks more than your team. But at least SEC fans don't make excuses if / when our conference sucks.

Yeah I didn't see it, but I'd agree that you guys can easily be a bubble team this year. Conference play is where your season will be made.

Then what are you basing your opinion of Arkansas on if you are not basing it on our record?

Obviously, you have not watched Arkansas play this year.

And yes, we have played two top 3 teams OOC this year

Totally agree with this. I think we can win 20-21 games and be on the bubble (and get in) which is a big improvement over last year. Our young guys are starting to gel together also, So we can win a lot of conference games.

Yes I have. And I watched you guys nearly blow a game that you had led the entire time to a decent OU team. And I also watched the Michigan game

Honestly If you guys would've lost to OU, the NCAA tourney would look incredibly bleak. That was actually a must win game...

With the SEC being incredibly down this year, it gives every team that is solid a chance. Hell I could honestly see a 6 or 7 seed in the SEC tourney finding a way to win it all and earn an auto-bid into the NCAA's. That's how bipolar our league is right now

This may end up being one of the worst years for SEC basketball in a long time, and that's really saying something. Only three or four NCAA teams is a legit possibility.

I like Anthony Grant, but his teams have the same pattern. We'll knock off a couple of teams we shouldn't, lose to a couple we shouldn't, barely make the NCAA & lose in the 1st or 2nd round.
