I knew it.....SEC/gump home office, were NEVER going to move their "back-yard" arrangement...all just a ploy to LOOK like they were actually open minded/progressive and to wrangle more "concessions" out of Hoover...LOL

They seem to do a good job at Hoover and it's centrally located geographically. This year's tournament was very enjoyable on SECN and ESPN.

Baseball fans are a different breed than football and basketball. College baseball hasn't been corrupted by the almighty dollar, so the fans are generally there to actuall enjoy baseball and not worry about what's happening on Beale/Bourbon/Broadway street(s). Part of the reason why the CWS stays in Omaha and not rotate around like football and basketball.
