What about Alabama finishing runner-up in 1983?

Yea the two runner up finishes will put you ahead of some teams.

The amount of times we appeared, hosted and made reg final/won reg final even in the 80's would put us ahead for that decade.

UF was pretty decent in the 80's as well.

Arkansas' rise from 9th in the 90's to 5th from 99-present can be directly correlated to Baum Stadium being built. '99 was the year it was built and our program has been completely different in the SEC since then.

We also went to CWS in 79, 85, 87, and 89. The 90's were just a dark time in baseball and football. Thank God for basketball.
