SEC Baseball Rankings- Gorilla Ball Era (91-98)/+Totals with SR era

Farmer had a good thread about rankings in the Super regional era. He used a point system that followed:
Using the same system here are the totals for 91-98(I have no idea why I picked these years
)
LSU- 18, 1.5, 18, 6, 1.5, 18, 18, 6 = 87
UF- 6, 1.5,1,2,.5, 6 = 17
Bama- 1, 1,2, 10, 1 = 15
Aub- .5, 5, 2, 5, 1= 13.5
Msst- .5, 1.5, .5, .5, 5, 5 = 13
UT- 1.5, 2, 6, 1, .5 = 11
A&M- .5, 1, 6, 1, .5, 2 = 11
Scar- .5, .5, .5 = 1.5
Ark- .5, .5, .5 = 1.5
Mizz- .5, .5 = 1
UGA- .5
Uk- .5
OM- .5
Vandy- 0

I liked the other guy's list better. I admit it's shallow, but his graphics were more catchy. No other reason than that.

He should start with 1990...the SEC's first NCAA title in baseball...the beginning of an era.

Should of took a pic of the napkin I scratched this out on.
Is it bad that Vandy just showed up a few years ago and are basically 4th counting stats from almost 30 yrs?

Nope sry..May 24, 1991 first pitch of the LSU regional..not a second before.
SEC slipped up in 92 but has been solid ever since.

Arkansas' rise from 9th in the 90's to 5th from 99-present can be directly correlated to Baum Stadium being built. '99 was the year it was built and our program has been completely different in the SEC since then.

99-current has Scar +4.5 on LSU..so LSU would need to make the CWS finals to surpass them

We have our own definition of 'bad.' Low expectations lower the bar dramatically, which means we get to celebrate any amount of success sooner than everyone else. And when we actually win the title...woah. We're gonna be as obnoxious as Vandy fans can be. So, you know, about 1/3rd as obnoxious as fans of most other SEC schools. Maybe 1/6th in the case of Big 6 and Arkansas fans.

had a blast at the series last year(even though you got us)
Vandy fans gave our group some BBQ between the DH.

There's something about baseball that makes fans more civilized and willing to just enjoy hanging out with each other than football, right? Glad you had fun with our fans.
Edit: Also, you did get that I wasn't actually complaining about the presentation, I was complaining about the fact that we sucked during your era and not during the other one, right?

Because if you did if from the 1950s forward, folks wouldn't like Alabama being that high on the list.

From 50-90- LSU had 4 CWS appearances and 6 NCAA appearances
Bama 2 CWS appearances and 5 NCAA tournament appearances
You would jump up a few spots but you wouldnt close any ground on first.
