- At least 3 different teams ranked #1 during the year.
- A .500 team earlier in the year goes on a tear and makes it to Omaha.
- 5 teams make it to Supers
- 9 teams make the post season
- 2 National seeds (could have been 3)
- 4 teams make it to Omaha (almost 5)
- 3 win at least one CWS game.
- 2 SEC East teams in Final Four and may make championship round.
- Boast #1 player in the country, #1 freshman in the country and #2 overall draft pick.

#1 player in the country is Andrew Benintendi. He won all the national awards. So no, its not reading comprehension.

I didn't know that this was common knowledge outside of Vanderbilt. Cool.

Hell, the SEC may have the 2 best freshman in the country. Lange is a given and Schwarz has made a pretty damn good case for himself.

Career, yes. Season?

Benintendi was the first player since 2009 with a 20/20 season in all of college baseball

My reply was I think Swanson is the better overall player.

Agreed!

And since this is a thread about SEC accomplishments, I guess the Benintendi/Swanson debate doesn't matter. We had both.

I think he was too, but Andrew Benintendi won Dick Howser Trophy, Baseball America College Player of the Year Award, & Collegiate Baseball’s National Player Of The Year.
