You didn't say that the NCAA did not give out the trophy. You said it didn't recognize it.
Why put it on their website, if they don't recognize it.

The NCAA doesn't recognize a Champion and they receive zero money for TV Bowl revenue. It has been that way from the beginning. I do not know what else you want it defined with.
